Riverstone Cottage: Waterfront/Sauna/Firepit

Gated entry, new fiber internet, ON THE WATER with scenic views. This is not your typical rental...this is your mountain/river adventure right in the heart of wine country! Less than 10 minutes to any of Dahlonega's famed vineyards. Fish/kayak right off your front door, roast smores over the fire pit, hike the property along a creek side hiking trail, or relax in the barrel sauna after a long on the water...so much adventure included without having to leave the property! Fiber internet and dog friendly. Maximum 2 dogs allowed, no cats. Three bedrooms with queen beds in each. Two additional built in twin XL beds in the loft with balcony overlooking the river. A/C units in each room. The cabin is approx 1300 sq feet with 1.5 bathrooms. Operators/Owners live nearby and can assist with any needs you may have. There are 3 cabins on the river approximately 150 yards apart. This cabin is the furthest downstream and has the best lot and view of the river. No need for firewood, premium propane fire pit for instant warmth and light. Outdoor speakers to play for your favorite tunes while enjoying the most pristine river view right off your porch.

Wonderful Stay

Absolutely loved our stay at the riverside cabin in Dahlonega, GA! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views and the serene sound of the river flowing nearby. The cabin itself was beautifully appointed, with cozy furnishings and all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor space was perfect for enjoying morning coffee while taking in the picturesque scenery, and we loved spending evenings by the fire pit, roasting marshmallows under the stars. The location was ideal—close enough to downtown Dahlonega to explore local shops and restaurants, yet secluded enough to feel like a true escape. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We can't recommend this cabin highly enough and look forward to returning for another peaceful retreat! Five stars all the way!

A Dahlonega Oasis

We came into town for the weekend for an event in Dahlonega and this was the perfect location. It took us about 15 minutes to get to downtown which was perfect for us. It was tucked away and secluded just as it appears on the photos. The fishing was great in the river, the hosts were absolutely incredible, helpful and friendly and I would give this a 10/10 review. We will be back again and look forward to when that time will be! Thank you for letting us stay here for a few days!

Perfect unique getaway!

This property offers such a fun and unique experience. It’s in an absolutely beautiful location that feels like your own private getaway. Walking right out to the river is amazing! And the waterfall right behind the house is beautiful. Inside the beds are super comfortable and everything feels clean and modern. We would love to visit again!

A Little Piece of Heaven

We are so happy to have found this cabin in the N. Georgia mountains for our Thanksgiving trip to visit our daughter! The hosts are so kind and welcoming and they provided all of the firewood we needed to enjoy the fire pit each evening! The hosts are close by when needed but the property is so peaceful and private we felt like we had our own private woods! The river running next to the cabin provided beauty and a chance to fish! If you are looking for a beautiful peaceful place to stay, be sure to try this one out!

Perfect mountain getaway

Beautiful home with high end finishes, comfortable stay. We spent evenings relaxing by the fire pit. Multiple wineries are close by. Hiking in the area amazing views. Owners on sight. Great with all communication. Spoiled us with having the pit prepared daily. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Perfect hosts.

Creek side, in the wooded mountain valley

Great place six miles from Dahlonega, 30 minutes from Helen, 30 minutes to Amacola Falls. Great property, fire pit, secluded private cabin with two queens, and two singles, and wifi that works. Out door grill, and a place to split wood for the fire pit, hamol and kayaks for those that dare to adventure. Great place to press pause and enjoy that family.

Great place!

Such a beautiful little cabin right on the river. The owners live maybe 150 yards away and are very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back.
