November 2017 Stay

My family and I had a wonderful time. The home was cozy, comfortable and clean to say the least. It felt like home away from home. We have just one concern, the step that leads to the garage is dangerous even with the red tape. Atleast 3 of the guest almost tripped. Overall, it was a positive experience.

If you want a heated pool/spa, this is NOT the house for you.

I will start by saying we LOVED the house. The property, the neighborhood, the location, and the house were all wonderful. We really enjoyed the triple sliding door out to the pool area and the larger back yard. The yard and pool had sun almost all day, which was really nice. We also really liked that there was access to the bathroom from the pool area, so you did not have to track water through the entire house to use the bathroom. Our BIG complaint has to do with the pool/spa. We arrived Friday evening to our house. I knew my kids would want to swim, so I had contacted the rental company on Wednesday before we checked in to ensure that the pool heat would be turned on. I was assured that it would be. We arrived Friday to a freezing pool and spa. Long story short, after several calls to the rental company and 2 visits from the pool cleaners, the pool never functioned correctly in our 10 day stay. When the pool cleaners tested the water temp on Wednesday it was 70 degrees. That does not sound like a heated pool to me. The spa was warm 2 evenings of our stay, and NEVER got warm again. It was colder than the pool. The pool cleaners cleaned the filter Wednesday, which seemed to help for a few hours with water circulation and they had to chlorinate the pool because when they tested it there was NO chlorine in it. The pool cleaners came back again Friday and had to clean the filter again and chlorinate the pool again. There is obviously something not working correctly, but nobody wanted to admit that. The pool warmed up a little, but never got near the 85 degree mark where it was supposed to be. The spa never worked correctly. There is no reason the water in the spa should be colder than the pool. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat if not for the pool issues. When the rental company says FREE POOL HEAT, they mean it! Free for you and free for them!

Only had one hiccup with the door code, which the property management quickly sorted out. If you do rent this house when you put in your door code, hit the * after the numbers. Great location, very quiet, far enough away from everything but not too far.

Not bad could have been better

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were not satisfied with this rental experience as we've been with others. We where not able to get into the gate because we didn't have a code. Also we couldn't enter the residence because the code we had didn't work. It took several phone calls before we received the right code. We wanted to enjoy the pool the first evening we arrived, however the pool was not clean. Again after several phone calls, someone came out the next morning and took care of the cleaning. There should be a listing of additional charges for spa heating and grill use on the amenities listing not just on the rental agreement. This can help people to decide if this is the best rental for their needs. You've already paid for the rental before you get the agreement, That states additional charges which can be over looked. The beds had good mattresses. The comforters could stand replacement with new ones. The rental overall was not bad, it just could have been better

Wonderful experience!!

They were so polite and so accommodating they extended our stay an extra night and even asked me to call them whenever was good later in the day to pay for the extra night just so I wouldn’t miss any time with my family. The home was super clean and in a beautiful gated community. We will for sure stay here again!!

A great stay for our Disney/Busch Garden vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a family of 6 adults staying for 9 nights. We found the home very clean and well organized. The furniture was in good condition and comfortable (mattresses too!) and the pool was well maintained and a very comfortable temperature. We were hoping the spa was more of a hot tub, but we were never able to get the temperature warmer than the pool, despite following the directions onsite. I believe this is more by design (for energy savings) than there being an issue, so we just didn't use it. We found one twin bed frame to be broken upon arrival. We called the management company who responded promptly, handled it that same afternoon, and followed up to make sure we were doing OK--great service! We thought this location was great for an easy drive to all the parks, and the proximity to Championsgate just a couple miles away was so convenient for groceries at Publix, restaurants, and everything else you might need during your stay. Be advised that there are absolutely no leftover condiments, salt & pepper, coffee filters, etc upon arrival. You will have a single roll of paper towels, and a roll of TP in each bathroom, a single packet of dishwasher detergent, a single laundry soap packet, and a scrubber wand with dish detergent inside. If you want some coffee your first morning, bring some coffee and basket filters with you! All the appliances were in great shape and appeared newish. Overall, this was a great stay, and we enjoyed it even more than the home in Windsor Hills that was bigger and "fancier" a few years ago! The price was really a good value in my opinion.

Disney Trip 2019

I called the emergency number and was given new code in a short period of time. I think what happened is we added Wednesday Night to our stay, (although added several months before trip)so I figure this did not get changed at code level. Still great house and great location for the money.

January 2019 Stay

We loved the house, it was roomy. We had a couple small things that could have made it a smoother stay. 1. The front door key pad we weren’t aware that it needed a *after the code. 2. Couldn’t find the extra trash bag which was supposed to be provided and last couldn’t find the thermostat to turn some heat on as it got a bit chilly at night, being from South Dakota we really didn’t worry to much tho. Overall was a wonderful place to stay and will keep it in mind if we ever get back to Florida.

Perfect get away home.

We very much loved staying in this house. Worked well. A few things that would have made it a bit smoother was when we went to unlock the door we didn’t realize that we needed to hit the * after the code was entered, but the helpful lady that was at the answering service helped us figure it out. The next item was there was supposed to be a few extra trash bags to use and there wasn’t, not to big of a deal as we really only used one. The only other thing we couldn’t quit figure out was how to change the temp in the house as it got a bit chilly at night, but not near as chilly as our home state of South Dakota. We would very much so stay here again if we ever get back to Florida.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the layout and amenities of the house were great. Convenient to grocery store and Disney. Property rental company was fantastic. Called about the pool heat and they were there in an hour. Surface cleaning was good at arrival, however, the carpet in the bedrooms was pretty grim and I had the misfortune of meeting the dusty bunnies with teeth under the couch when I retrieved a toy car. Only real complaint was the 7 cockroaches that we had to catch in the first day and a half of arrival but those seem to come with the territory. Maybe a pest spray might help. Otherwise, good experience and would rent with Florida Spirit again.
