“The Lodge was beautiful and well-staffed and maintained. Unexpected for a State Park. The restaurant, Cascades, was also over-the-top good. All the staff were courteous and helpful and made my stay so enjoyable. Also the mountain park is absolutely gorgeous. The view from the Lodge is breathtaking!”

My ex-husband and I went with our 2 kids and it was plenty of space to be able to stay out of each other’s ways. We each had our own balconies, beds, and bathrooms. So this would also be perfect for 2 small families. The kitchen was equipped with just the right types of dishes for prepping small meals. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are fully functional with great water pressure and……

“Check in was easy, host was helpful and informative. Room condition was disappointing. Bed cover was frayed at edges, towels were thin and we were given only 2 towels for a 2 night stay, batteries in the TV remote were not working, heater knob for bath heat lamp was broken and heat light could not be turned on. also, they had a sound machine which is intended to play soothing music. again, no batteries and not in working condition. “It's an older hotel, but very well kept and always affordable! The washer and dryer work great and only cost $2.00 per machine! Anywhere else you're paying almost $4, just to start one cycle. The staff is very friendly and always helpful.”

“This cabin is charming and cozy. It’s nicely decorated and well-stocked. We appreciated the selection of coffee pods and the bottle of wine. The hosts also had other thoughtful touches like a walking stick for the trails, maps and other information about the area. We enjoyed sitting on the deck to look at the stars. The hosts were very responsive. We would stay again. ”

“We loved our four nights stay! We loved the game room playing air hockey, ping pong and darts! We took advantage of taking the kayak out on the water and exploring the river. Also enjoyed laying out in the sun on the second floor of the dock. One of our favorite activities were making a fire and roasting marshmallows in the evenings.The host was wonderful. Always responded quickly to any question I had. Also honored a last minute request. Lastly we took advantage of all the separate seating……
