The heat was not functioning well and it was chilly the 2 nights we stayed. Honestly, I have stayed in more comfortable and equipped cabins for less than I paid for this trip.”

“Before staying here, I was under the impression that Wyndham was a premium brand. After staying here, I sincerely doubt this. I have stayed in nicer Motel 6s. There were broken and hastily repaired walls in my room, missing fixtures, yellowing and out of date light fixtures and no electrical sockets within easy reach of the bed. The staff seemed friendly, however, there appeared to be somebody who was related to one of the staff members who spent his entire day sitting in the hotel lobby playing……

“The Cabin was clean and cozy. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and very relaxing. The fire pit was a very pleasant experience. We really enjoyed our getaway!”

We had such a great time… The view is spectacular & the grounds @ Big Canoe are impeccable! I fell in love with ‘THE NEST’ and we’re already planning a next stay! Dialogue with the host was exceptional! So much to do there. Their trail hikes are a must! Fading Goat Vineyard was also outstanding! ”

“The host was amazing. Very proactive communication and was very helpful. The cabin was a nice setup for my wife, my elderly parents and our two small dogs. If there will be any strong rains or snow you will need an 4WD/ AWD. My Subaru Outback had no issues. ”
