「We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay at Copperhead. Our cabin was very clean, comfortable and cozy, and the staff, especially Denise, was very friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the huge, wraparound porch. The Flying Trout had great food and live entertainment. Not mentioned in other reviews is that it is close to an Appalachian Trail access point on Route 19. All in all, a very relaxing mountain hideaway.」

「I traveled constantly for many years and have stayed at hundreds of different properties, and at this price point, The Mallard Hotel is among the nicest I’ve stayed in. Clean, comfy, modern and a nice covered seating area outside with beautiful views. Highly recommend!」

「We got a room next to the elevator and it was very noisy. The air conditioner kept turning off and we woke in the middle of the night extremely stuffy and warm. It was quite challenging to get a temperature that was comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Not too impressed with this hotel.」
