1st floor room was perfect for me. I’m on a walker and a cane. The pool was not heated so I didn’t get in much. Loved the location and the staff. Great to have breakfast and not have to cook or go out. Will definitely be back, and Jeep parade on the beach was awesome.

My husband and I come to Daytona a couple of times a year and always stay on the beach. Up until now, the places we've stayed have been just okay. The Beachside Hotel was a very different experience and we will absolutely be staying here again and again! First impression: the property is well maintained with a little enclosed sitting area out front with wicker hammock chairs. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The entire hotel was spotless. Our room had a kitchen sink, dishes etc, microwave and a full size fridge. They have stations on esch floor with cleaning supplies, extra TP and trash bags etc which is convenient. We stayed one night so I'm not sure if housekeeping comes every day but with everything available ypu really wouldn't need it with everything available. We had a private balcony facing the ocean. We did not use the pool, but it looked clean with plenty of deck chairs. Beach was easily accessible by way of a ramp. Breakfast was relatively standard. Waffle maker, packaged breakfast sandwiches, hardboiled eggs, packaged donuts etc. They also had hot grits with toppings. The orange juice was real. :) But my absolute favorite amenity was the coffee/espresso machine in the lobby. I could make myself an actual latte, not some sugary convenience-store stuff. And it was GOOD! They have lots of flavored syrups and other condiments as well. The machine is available 24 hours a day and is FREE! Overall we can't exit to stay here again!

Breakfast was good for the quick grab. They have a coffee machine that gives you quite the variety & it wasn’t to bad. The pool was nice, would have been a bit better if it had been heated but it was nice & refreshing when it got hot. The cushions on most of the chairs could stand to be replaced. The view was amazing. The room was great I loved that you could smell how clean it was. The little kitchenette was just that little. I don’t know if we don’t know how to use the little stovetop or if it just wasn’t working but we couldn’t get it to come on. The bed was comfortable. Overall a great little spot to stay.

Pros: First off I will just say that this location is amazing! It’s quiet, private and away from the heavy crowds. There is a great little restaurant across the street called The Cracked Egg Diner that serves breakfast and lunch. Crabby Joe’s restaurant is very close too & within walking distance from the beach. Cons: Ok, I am not one who usually takes time to write reviews, however, the major issue I had with this hotel was that the POOL IS NOT HEATED or the heater wasn’t working properly. We tried several times to bring up the issue and were always given the run around. We have teenagers who were very restless because the weather was cooler than expected and they could not even swim. My kids take full advantage of the pool when we travel so not having this amenity was game changing. The staff was not helpful. They offered excuses rather than solutions when it came to the pool & never messaged us about updates. The front desk said they would and did not. For this reason alone, I will probably not stay here again. Breakfast was ok. It was all microwave and grab and go stuff but it is what I expected so I wasn’t disappointed. The coffee machine in the lobby was a plus also. We traveled with our dog and there was a little dog park area about a 1 minute walk from the hotel which was convenient. Our room was very spacious and clean. It seems like it used to be 2 rooms that joined that they made into one large family suite & it was perfect for our family of 4 and our pet.
