Boasting equal parts convenience and comfort, this one-bedroom retreat promises non-stop entertainment with direct beach access and a suite of on-site amenities including four shared pools, a lazy river, fitness center, and putting green. Local shops, bars, and restaurants are all within a short walk of the complex. The bright interior comes equipped with all the comforts of home including a full kitchen, central air-conditioning, and a private washer and dryer. After the day's adventures, unwind with your shows and movies on the living room TV. Enjoy morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the private, ocean-view balcony.

Take a short walk south on the World's Most Famous Beach down to the boardwalk where there are many restaurants, shops, and the Joyland Amusement Center. Right across the street is Daytona Lagoon, a family-friendly water park with go-karts, mini-golf, an arcade, laser tag, and a climbing wall. Take a quick six mile drive across the bridge to the mainland to visit Daytona's new Tanger Outlets where you can shop all your famous designer brands, or head over to the Daytona International Speedway to catch a race!

Just needs alittle TLC

I knew this unit was slightly outdated from the pictures but booking with short notice I wasn’t too worried about that. We’ve stayed at this resort the same week for the past 7 years and this was the least favorite unit. The unit is listed to accommodate 4 people, but only came with 3 wash cloths and 3 towels. Very minimal dishes as far as drinking cups and pans to cook, actually no full size pans or pots. The dish washer doesn’t work, which we found out while trying to figure out where gnats were coming from (dish washer had standing water in it that won’t drain). The kitchen sink makes a loud noise when you have the water on the whole time it’s on. The folding door that closes over washer and drawer wouldn’t stay closed. The bathroom shower has a good bit of mold build up where the caulk needs to be replaced and the shower door seems warped and sticks in the bottom corner on the side it opens on making it difficult to open. The unit itself is in a PERFECT location and the bed was super comfortable!

Excellent place to Stay

Everything about ocean walk hotel is excellent. Location, ocean front, and great views from balcony. Only down side is no early check in.. very strict on 4pm check in.. Will definitely be staying there again as we do almost every year during biketoberfest.

Unit as advertised but nightmare with Vacasa

The unit was clean and exactly as pictured. The only thing with the unit is it did not have enough wash cloths and towels. We had to wash them every single day during our stay. However, I would stay here again and just bring some from home. The nightmare we had checking in was solely Vacasas fault. When arriving to check in, Vacasa had never sent the emailed reservation to Wyndham. Even though I called twice in 24 hours prior to our arrival and was assured they would have the email before we got there. With myself and the front desk calling Vacasa and reaching out to their general manager(with no answer) it took one hour to get someone on the phone to rectify the error. No issues at all with the unit or Wyndham Ocean walk. However, I will never book anything that is managed by Vacasa again. I drove hours with two small children and did not know if we were going to have somewhere to stay because of the negligence of Vacasa.

Cleaning and updates needed!

The overall resort was great - clean, friendly staff, great pool area. But unit 2422A needs some updating. First and foremost, the shower is gross - bad mold and mildew along the bottom. All it needs is a quick recaulking and it would look soooo much better. Overall, the unit just needs some updates - furniture and decor are very dated, but rooms are nice and large. Washer/dryer we’re new, stove and microwave were fine, but dishwasher was rusted and hard to close and freezer leaked into fridge section. Kitchen had new dishes and was well stocked with basics (except no hot pads and no plastic cups for kiddos. Everything was glass.). Mattress was very comfortable, but linens were pulled and could use replaced. Plenty of towels and beach towels provided, which was nice. Customer service with the owner (a company, not an individual) was not good. I asked for the shower to be addressed on day one with no response, and wifi was out for half of our stay. I contacted the “owner” and only answer for 3 days was they were waiting for a call back. I wouldn’t recommend this unit unless updates were made.

Vacasa is a nightmare

Our vacation here started with a nightmare and ended with another. We booked with Vacasa, first regret. First, we arrived at check in at 4pm to be told that the front desk had no reservation for us even though Vacasa sent a text saying everything was ready. Well, the front desk said we had to contact Vacasa to build the reservation. So after 4 HOURS of not being to get ahold of anyone using text service or several phone calls, someone finally sent the reservation in. That basically ruined our first day. The next day I spent my vacation time to call Vacasa to discuss concessions for the check in fiasco, where I was offered a late check out at 4pm instead of 10am. I felt somewhat relieved a little and satisfied with the extra time on our final day. On check out day we left the room for just a few minutes only to return to a room that we had been locked out of... once again Vacasa failed at their job and didn't send the extended check out reservation. Again we were locked out with all of our belongings inside. Luckily security let us in only to have housekeeping show up and essentially kick us out of our room. We told them we would be done shortly and quickly packed the car and were done with the Vacasa nightmare! Not quite though, as I've been calling to get ahold of Vacasa for a refund for our 2 days of ruined vacation due to their negligence and poor communication at every level. But, now they just apologize and say they will call back, or they just drop the call altogether. I felt scammed, and they even have the property listed as 350 N. Atlantic Ave which doesn't exist, it is actually 300 N. Atlantic Ave. VRBO should drop Vacasa from their platform for to all the bad reviews that makes VRBO look bad itself. I will definitely never use Vacasa again, and unless something is done to make this right,i will prob never use VRBO again either. Better to just book directly with the resort and not pay the crazy fees associated with these companies. It's a shame because the resort is very nice, great amenities, location, and wonderful staff for the most part. Hopefully, I'll get a response, not holding my breath though. Michael Browning

Daytona vacation

A beautiful spot to stay on the beach. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. A great view of the beach and ocean from the 24 floor! Chairs by the pool are taken by 7am. even though signs do not allow it. Security does absolutely nothing about it while chairs sit covered with towels for 4-5 hours with no one around. The address listed online is incorrect. It’s 300 not 350. Vacasa takes the online listing from Vrbo and they don’t bother to forward the information to the condo/hotel resort. We had to call and have Vacasa email the booking to the hotel while we were at the front desk. Hotel staff were great but it was a very frustrating experience due to Vacasa. Overall a nice hotel just a pain checking in due to Vacasa.

Great accommodations

The unit is great!!! I am considering doing this again next year. The size, location, and ammenities were awesome. I do need to mention the walk i shower. Lots of mold. Not a fan of mold. I believe this can be cleaned up and recaulked, but it should be fixed in my opinion. Oh and the ice maker doesn't work. I think it's leaking water into the frig when I tried to use it. NOt a deal breaker, but it would have been convenient. Thanks for asking, I hope you to be back sometime.
