“I traveled with my spouse and 2 kids for a 4H competition in the area and came across this gem. The house and property are beautiful as is the art work throughout. Mr. Wilburn was an awesome host. After the competition, my family and I went to the Mansfield and Pleasant Hill battlefields which were just a short drive from the house. I will definitely be staying again the next time we find ourselves in the area.”

“This gorgeous historic home was located in the perfect spot. It offered great accommodations and amenities for four adults, one 11-year-old child, and our furry friend. We appreciated the simplicity and history of the house. We enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch swing and rockers while listening to the sounds of birds and nature. Perfect place to come and get away from the busy city life and enjoy the quiet and peaceful country life. There is a store/restaurant right up the road that has awesome food if you don’t feel like cooking, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner”

“I first came to this beautiful place in 2021 looking for clarity and peace from life. I found those things at the cabin. The cabin has become a yearly trip for me get away from all of the craziness life brings. Cabin is always stocked with most of the things needed in case you forget anything. Beautiful view of the lake. I spend all of my time on the wharf (dock/pier) enjoying the sounds of nature and the water. We caught a good bit of fish this weekend.
