Thank you for Viewing. we just relisted this Property on VRBO in August 23 hence the lack of Reviews(there are hundredsof them on other major sites if you care to look with a 4.85 out of 5 rating). we have had this home and 3 others on the block for close to 40 years doing short term vacation rentals the whole time. way before apps, we know what our guest want,what we'd be looking for ourselves, and we know how to set them up, we believe this is the perfect 2 blocks of SanDiego Coast line specificallyfor Delmar, we feel so strong about it we built our Dreamhome half a block away and are close for anything you need, and if you dont we are invisible......
ThisPerfect for entertaining or two families. only 1 house in front of the beach. no stairs or cliffs to get down. Always ask most in Delmar have! Front part of the house has 2 bedrooms w 2 full baths, kitchen, living room, dining room & front entrance to house. You can walk to the back courtyard with fountain (water wall, outdoor BBQ, Bar, fridges), through sliding doors in the dining room, or the french doors into master bedroom. Back bedrooms are entered through the courtyard & the 3rd bath is shared between the last 2 bedrooms.. You can enter the courtyard and back bedrooms without entering the front of the house if you want.. The living room & master bedroom have flat screen Smart tvs with Roku for streaming

The space
Single floor beach house that has been treated with love and care. A lot of room, and is the best value space wise in the beach colony (we've been doing this for over 40 years and we know the competition so we know how to set up a rental we would want to be in). It's the first house we bought in Del Mar & was our beach house for many years. Bathrooms, kitchen, backyard, and showers are all recently remodeled. We supply surfboards (soft to learn on by request) boogie boards, beach chairs, towels, and beach games. The courtyard that brings it all together is amazing. Just bring your toothbrush and bathing suit. Basic toiletries, condiments, and house supplies that we provide is a bigger variety than most other rentals offer and more than enough to get you started. There is only an alley and another house behind us to the beach. You only have to walk a few houses over to the nearest public beach access without crossing the street. Less than half a block either to 20th or 21st beach. But you can hear the waves crashing at night in your bedroom. You will sleep well! Also, we are dog friendly and Del Mar has great beaches and parks for dogs. We do have a max of 2 dogs and ask you to please keep them off the furniture, pick up after them. We also carry a $125 charge per dog. There are exceptions to total amount but please ask first if more than 2 dogs before booking.

We are a dog friendly house, but we do charge 125 per and have a limit of 2, we do make exceptions on case by case basis. please inquire first if using insta book if wanting to book with more than 2 dogs.

Other things to note
There is only one house behind us then the beach. We are close enough you can hear the waves crash from your bed at night. One note I’d like to make about this house is, it is not a shiny new house! It is the first house we bought of the four we own here. It has gone through many upgrades through the years and done with lots of love. This was the house our family lived in every summer when we came down from LA. We would do a little every time we came. Then, when we were building our house on 21st Street, we lived in this house & took the opportunity to do major upgrades that we couldn’t do when renting it before. We just lived through the mess to get it great for YOU!! Ha ha ! Just so it's clear, once again, the back two bedrooms are separated from the front part of the house. It all opens up to the courtyard. Back 2 bedrooms have their own shared bathroom as well. It is right next to the other front house, only separated by washer, dryer outdoor, fridge room. It gives a little more privacy if there is a 2nd family at night. If not , it's really just an extension of the house, but entered after u go through the courtyard.
