Wonderful Stay

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. We spent a lot of time sitting on the back deck enjoying the view of the ocean. It also was a quick walk to the beach and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Charming House

Relaxing stay by the beach

Beautiful property and such a quick walk to the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony over looking the water each morning. Located in between many fun activities just a short car ride away. We will be coming back again!

Perfect stay

Our family of 4 adults loved our stay at your home. It was the perfect location for us as we attended a family wedding next door at the L'auberge Hotel. We enjoyed sunset cocktails on the balcony each night and cooking meals here. Easy to get to attractions in the city and beaches. We walked to shops and restaurants in Del Mar town. A fabulous place and would definitely stay again

This beach house is just charming!

We had a wonderful week at this adorable beach house! It was perfectly located and convenient for our family activities. We enjoyed the wrap-around porch and loved hearing the sound of the waves. We hope to stay here again sometime in the future!

Great home and the location is simply stunning

This home is charming and well maintained with luscious gardens around, both natural and manufactured. The walk to the beach is simple if you find the secret steps to the tube. So much fun and a wonderful place. We will definitely be going back.

Stayed with my wife and 3 kids. Property is one of best properties we have stayed at. Close to train, but fairly quiet and kids thought it was great. Huge yard, comfortable beds, awesome balcony. I would highly recommend.

Del Mar verb

We stayed in this house about 10-12 years ago. It was nice but a little dated. It has since been refurbished and has been updated with all amenities fairly new. The proximity to the beach was great. Would highly recommend it.

Beach luxury

This is such a great property with everything you need for a beach centric stay. We enjoyed the stay tremendously. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen stocked with all plates and utensils you’d ever need and beach toys are available as well. I highly recommend. I would definitely stay again. Small caveat - this is not the place for you if you don’t like trains. They don’t bother me at all. They do go by frequently but are super short and are past the house in seconds.

Great Del Mar Getaway

My husband, 7 year old son and myself had a great stay over spring break week. It was easy to find, super private and we didn’t have to drive at all for meals, Del Mar shopping or the beach. It was also centrally located on the coast for all of our driving needs. The neighborhood was very quiet and although the train goes by near the property, it only interfered with our sleep once and that was the one time we heard a freight train go through. I would take that one interruption for the location, the view and the neighborhood. The home itself is a bit tired but it’s more like a larger, charming beach shack. I was thrilled by the laundry in the primary bedroom area and bath. We definitely appreciated that after days at the beach. Also the yard was a perfect place for our little dog to explore. All in all a pleasant experience!

Wonderful fenced property with ocean views and coastal breezes. The natural light well appointed decor was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, morning walks to Stratford Cafe. The outside swing bench that also faces the ocean with a view made it where you just didn't want or need to leave, so we enjoyed dinner and card games in the afternoon with no need to go anywhere :)

Beautiful, Cozy House In a Perfect Location!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was beautiful and cozy, with comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Del Mar, with a tunnel just steps away that leads directly to the beach and some of the area's top waterfront restaurants.One thing we weren’t expecting was the train noise, but we quickly got used to it and it didn’t take away from our overall experience. Being able to walk everywhere and leave the car parked was a huge bonus. Overall, a wonderful stay in a prime spot!

Great Beach Cottage

Super nice little place. Location is wonderful - very secluded from neighbors. Didn't mind being close to the train tracks at all (in fact, it is almost a plus).
