"Surf Club is a no frills beach house type motel that still offers all the modern amenities like in-room coffee maker, fridge, micro, wifi, etc (kitchenette). My wife and I felt like we were in the nostalgia of the 1960's. Couldn't care less that there was no elevator, the hotel is only 3 floors and there's an awesome retro dumbwaiter that takes your zooms your luggage to your floor. The staircase and hallways are narrow, and of course they are, because that's a 1960 beach front hotel. It was practical then and awesome now to stay in a place that takes you back to the very roots of beachfront living. The room reminded me of a stateroom in a clipper ship (google it) with it's clapboard, exposed beams, quaint little nooks and you absolutely will not find a more breathtaking view. Everything you need is there so you don't have to sacrifice comfort in any way, but the feel, the vibe, and the look of Ocean Club is exactly what you want if a beach house is where you want to stay. My wife and I will 1000% be back. Hopefully soon !"

"I loved having the double doors open and fresh air, it was a cool weekend so it was perfect. The staff was very friendly, bed was comfy and the curtains did a great job of blocking light so I was able to sleep in. It was a great weekend getaway, not fancy, just comfy and relaxing. "

"Everything was great. They need a comfortable chair in the room. The chair in the room is very attractive but not in any way comfortable. Felicia who worked in the breakfast area was outstanding. She was constantly filling the food. She was very friendly and extremely conscientious! Our stay was wonderful as usual."

"Friendly staff. Spacious rooms with enough electronic ports to satisfy a family with three teenage kids! Lovely lobby area which created a family friendly atmosphere that even the guest acted like we were all one family. I will definitely use this hotel chain. "
