Palm Gardens is a lovely older style hotel in a great area, close to the beach walk and to many cafes, restaurants and spas. The room is a great size, bed was comfortable ( after a topper was added). Pool area is lovely and quiet. On site restaurant has Japanese menu with great food. Made on the front desk is a lovely, helpful and polite man.

I really liked this hotel. The pool was big enough to swim laps and seemed like it had been renovated pretty recently but they need to keep on top of cleaning it. The rooms were nice and big with a good fridge, kettle and TV (fast enough wifi to stream). Rooms were a little dated but didin't bother us, they were nice a clean. Sockets by bed. A few minutes walk to the beach and quite a few cheap Warungs as well as 5 mins from a decent supermarket. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was basic but fine. Would definitely stay here again.
