Very nice, historic home with old world charm. You’re able to roam the property and see the ballroom. Breakfast is made to order. Host made an exception for me as I only wanted toast with jelly and black coffee. Walking around in the neighborhood was very nice with all the old houses.

We had our wedding at the Inn, and it was simply wonderful! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, Joel makes amazing breakfasts and meal, and the mansion itself is eerily beautiful and charming. Each room has it's own character and the whole place has a comfortable and classic vibe. We particularly enjoyed the Honeymoon suit and the oversized amazing jet tub! I can't recommend the Lumber Baron Inn enough. If you have a chance, visit this place before it changes hands (its for sale unfortunately) and enjoy the very clear love and dedication the current staff has for this beautiful historic BnB!

The Lumber Barron is a true treat! Beautiful Property inside and out, great location, luxury meets haunted house vibes. The Inn Keeper Joel was helpful and available, really catering to us and making our stay special. The room was clean and comfortable and beautiful! Delicious made to order breakfast served in the classic breakfast nook was a particular treat. Can’t say enough about this special stay. We will definitely be back.

Wow—what an amazing place to stay for the final two days of our three-week road trip. We definitely saved the best until last!
We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary, and it was perfect. The house itself has a fascinating history, and the décor throughout was finished to an exceptionally high standard.
Our room was fantastic, with the biggest mirror I've ever seen, and the jacuzzi bath was such a fun treat.
The chef-cooked breakfast was outstanding, with so much choice, and our host was top quality—friendly, welcoming, and made us feel thoroughly spoiled.
A wonderful stay and the perfect ending to an unforgettable trip! Just a shame we couldn't stay longer!
