The recently remodeled Tyrolean Lodge is a classic, comfy cabin with an Austrian aesthetic, centrally located in the Wondervu area of Golden, in Boulder County. With easy access to SH-74, this rental is a short drive to Eldora Ski Mountain and easy access to Nederland, Blackhawk, Boulder, downtown Golden, and Denver. This cabin will take you back in time to the days of the gold rush but will offer you all the relaxing comfortable modern amenities.


You will love this 2-bedroom cabin, with centerpiece woodstove beautifully tiled bathroom, open kitchen format that is fully equipped, making meal preparation easy. There is a new hot tub and two smart TVs for when you’re ready to sit back and relax “at home”. There is very strong WiFi in this home. You will not have any issue hosting a Zoom call, if necessary.


You will be within walking distance to the Eldora Café and easy proximity to some of the best outdoor activities Boulder, Jefferson, and Gilpin Counties offer, like hiking, biking, mountain climbing, and winter sports.


This is your chance to unplug and reconnect with nature and your loved ones. This rental is one of four cabins... so while remote, you`re not completely off the grid.


Tyrolean Lodge is professionally cleaned using natural, eco-friendly cleaning products between each guest’s stay.


Staying in Wintertime? While the property is on a School Bus Route / County-maintained and plowed roadway, it is required to have a 4WD vehicle during winter.


INTERESTING FACTs: Wondervu is a settlement that was developed in the late 1920s-1930s by the Denver lawyer Otto Friedrich as a vacation community for the working class. The current population of Wondervu is approximately 2600 people. Elevation is 8632 above sea level.

Tenant stated on Agreement/Booking must be at least 25-years-old and must be staying on property during the booking window.


***During the month of November through April a 4 wheel drive vehicle is required.***


Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation within 30 days of checkin will forfeit the amount of the reservation. Any cancellation prior to the 30 day check will receive 100% refund less $100 cancelation fee.
