This property was a fun place to stay. The listing we read had a dishwasher, but the property didn't have them. However, when we had some issues with the property, the owner was very responsive and made sure it was taken care of quickly. It was a great stay overall, and my family loved the views, experience, property grounds. We would definitely stay again.
It's a cute place in a slightly industrial/rural part of town. Enjoyed being walking distance from downtown Old Colorado City and Red Rock Canyon Open Space. The property seems like a work in progress, but the actual place was comfortable and suited our needs. Needs a light in the shower. Third party rental management means the check in/out instructions don't completely match the property. I would come back!
This was a great little place for my husband and I to stay. Small, but enough space for both of us. We loved how close it was to Garden of the Gods, Pike's peak, Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, etc. Property was very clean and had all the basics. We were looking for a clean, simple, close by place and this was definitely it..Only kinda odd thing was the actual "compound" it was on. It was basically someones private property with a junkyard on it and some rentals lol. There were crashed and broken down vehicles all over the property with random people working on them and moving them around. Didn't off putting to some.bother us but i can see how that might be
I loved the location of the treehouse tucked away in the ‘compound’ shared with a few other small houses. The view of the mountains from the deck were incredible and there wasn’t much noise from traffic etc. 10 mins or less to Old Colorado City, grocery stores, bars, and restaurants. Perfect for a quiet getaway near Garden of the Gods and other mountain vistas. Inside there was a great deal of dust on the kitchen shelves and the ceiling fan. The ladder that leads to the larger sleeping area in the loft is very steep and tough to climb without shoes on as the iron bars hurt your feet. The bed is also very close to the ceiling in the loft. The futon on the main floor was uncomfortable for sleeping and very loud (creaking).
A very clean and cozy stay. The host was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond with questions. The location provided a very easy drive to the places we wanted to visit.
Checkin process was easy and great. It was very warm in there so my husband checked the AC unit and the filter was absolutely filthy so we cleaned it out and it cooled down good. We found a pair of woman’s underwear left as well
Beautiful little cabin! The best part is there was a yard full of goats right next door making us all feel at home. The one thing we found missing was extra blankets. My husband and I had to do without but it was manageable. Very clean and cozy.
Just needed 48 hours away from husbands and kids. Super cute space located to the Springs

The place is small as expected but not layed out well and a little full of stuff in the main area. It's on a plot with about three other houses and there was a guy that we assumed lived in the main house or did maintenance for the whole property because we saw him all over that was blasting music our first two nights/afternoons loud enough that it overpowered my ear buds. Sitting on the porch was kinda unbearable...

The treehouse was absolutely wonderful. Blew the circuit a few times and took some time to figure out the heat never did figure out the loft lights. The treehouse was well furnished, clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Area around the property roads had potholes, and there were weeds around the property. The parking area underneath needed to be finished.
This place is a decent stay with a bit of privacy and some mountain views, but a few inconveniences here and there add up to being disappointing. Many user experience issues could've been spotted if the owners or the company had stayed there for a weekend. If they stayed, they would've noticed that using iron bars for the ladder to the attic bedroom is painful to use barefoot. Put on your shoes if you want to go down to the bathroom at night. The window unit is not great at cooling down the place. If you want to open your window and keep the curtains down, the metal blocks at the bottom will make noise because they'll swing in the wind and hit the window frame all night. If you keep your curtains up, all the lights around the property will keep you up. The property has many windows, but many cannot be covered up. You do not have a choice as the guest to regulate the morning daylight entering the bedroom. Also there's a giant parking lot full of trailers between the property and the mountains which is not pictured. Also, the first day, we had a hard time using the shower because we could not regulate the water temp properly, not sure what caused it. And the quality difference between the top bed and the bottom bed is quite pronounced. The property manager was very helpful, but she could only do so much when the property had many inconveniences and annoyances that made the stay... just ok. Because of all these disappointments, I found the price point to be pretty high.
