Great location and great house

House was amazing. Really liked being inside the gated community and then a short, short walk to the beach inside the neighborhood. No busy streets to worry about. Property management was super responsive.

50th Anniversary

Plenty of comfortable space for all our family, who enjoyed the beach and pool. Private beach was very well managed by beach attendants and daily set up of umbrellas & chairs a big plus. Very responsive maintenance guy and rental staff to take care of a few issues that arose over our stay.

Beautiful home and short walk to beach.

Home is large and beautiful. 2 year old could walk to beach. We have large family. There was room for everyone. Highly recommend this home.

Great place

It was perfect for a large group like ours, 20 people from ages 1 1/2 to 72. Comfortable rooms, but would like to have known that the two bunk rooms open out to the main room on the floor with no door between. Kids slept there and it didn’t bother them. The house is just a quick walk to the beach and also close to restaurants and stores. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall Experience

The house was excellent. Communication and check-in was great. The only thing we didn’t like was the Beach Service company. Guys were rude and not friendly when it came to informing then we we due a chair and umbrella setup. Then when you have town chairs you are told where you can and can’t put them. I would rather stay on the other end of Destin where they don’t have so many beach rules.

The house was in an excellent location close to beach, restaurants, grocery stores and activities nearby. Having 5 bedrooms equipped with a King bed and private bathroom was perfect for our 50th birthday celebration couples trip as each couple had their own private bedroom/area. We also enjoyed the pool and several kitchen/lounge areas throughout the house. There were a few things that didn't work and we had to call maintenance and I was surprised that there was no hairdryer or extra trash bags provided since we had to empty all the trash upon leaving - otherwise I would have given it 5/5.

House was large enough to comfortably accommodate us all and also with enough separate spaces for privacy when needed/wanted. The walk to the beach was very close and easy.

July 4th stay

Was very dissatisfied with how the house was cleaned. It was very dirty. Looks like it has not been dusted in a very long time. Walls and cabinets are disgusting. We found food and other items left behind from previous days. There were bugs in the property there were pieces of furniture that were broken door handles broken. The kitchen had very few utensils and things needed to cook basic utensils and things like breakfast. We loved the location of the property would have absolutely loved the house. Had it been cleaned properly overtime and had things that are a necessity to cook with or to use on a week long stay on vacation.

The home itself is beautiful, but unfortunately it wasn’t well maintained. When we arrived, the floors were grainy and didn’t appear to have been properly swept or mopped. The living room furniture was okay, though the pillows were worn.In the kitchen, the dishes and stemware were nice, but the cookware was very old and hard to use. Pots and pans had been tossed haphazardly into cabinets, and one of the kitchen stools was broken. The dining area was pretty, but the chairs had visible stains and needed a thorough cleaning.Upstairs, one bedroom had a broken rack that had been propped up with tissue, and a bathroom had a rusted toilet paper holder. Downstairs, the furniture looked spotty and the grill was so dirty it couldn’t be used without a deep clean.Overall, the house has great potential and lovely features, but it needs better upkeep and attention to detail. With a thorough cleaning and some updates, it could be a wonderful stay.Lastly, communication with the host was unsatisfactory. I communicated immediately when the towel rack was discovered broken. The host responded two days later that someone would come and repair it. No one showed up. I also attempted to contact the host in reference to the checkout procedure that was never received. The only notification received was to be out by 9:00.

Spring Break 2023

Our stay at Azul Atlantica was everything we were looking for and more. There were 10 adults and 8 boys, 18 or older. The house was so spacious, we never felt as though you were cramped together. The bunk room on the first floor was perfect for them to share. For the parents we were all able to have our own rooms and bathrooms which was nice. The kitchen had everything that you would need to cook and had plenty of cabinet space to store food. The pool and the outdoor kitchen was a perfect setup. We spent a lot of time out there. The only thing wrong was the gas grill burners were not all working so we used the charcoal grill when we cooked. The beach access was very convenient. It was perfect to have a private beach with plenty of room for the boys to throw football, play frisbee, etc. The accommodations for parking was great with having 5 vehicles. The view from the roof was breathtaking. The location was great, we could walk to places and the drive to stores and restaurants was not bad at all. We all had an amazing time celebrating senior spring break! This is definitely a house that I would rent again. I have already told my friends and family about this beautiful home.

Close to the beach!! Perfect for large families.

We fell in love with this house and the private beach. We felt so spoiled we don’t want to ever go to a public beach again. The concierge on the beach was so nice, accommodating and so helpful. We never felt too crowded and had plenty of room for our large group to spread out and play. The house is literally a block and a half from the beach. We had two 12 month old babies with us and the location was perfect for taking babies back and forth for a nap. The mom’s could stay on the beach and someone at the house just texted when the baby woke and they came back to get them and take them to the beach. We also had my mother who used a walker. We rented a beach wheelchair for her. We were close enough we could just push her to the beach in the chair. The elevator was essential for her and was why we chose this house. The elevator was broken when we got there so I recommend checking several days in advance to be sure everything is in working order. But the management company got it fixed right away. The ice machines were also broken but the management company brought us 10 bags of ice right away, and that lasted all week. This house is perfect for large groups. We had four married couples and my mother and we all had our own room/bathroom and balcony. We could be together and yet felt like we had so much privacy. Having a private pool with a waterfall was sweet for the kids. There is a nice living area right off the pool so adults could watch the kids swim when it was too hot to sit outside. The pool was much smaller than I thought. But the deep end was very deep and the waterfall feature was fun for the kids. We did not use the outdoor kitchen. It was not terribly clean and the burners were not working properly. It felt too hazardous to use. This wasn’t a big problem for us, but if you really want to use the outdoor kitchen, I recommend checking it out first thing and letting the management company know right away of any issues. I’m sure they will take care of it promptly. The homes are very close together and some people in our home were awakened by some loud neighbors and parties. But everything seemed to quieten down by midnight. Several in our group had noise machines and those that did never heard the neighbors. There is a lake in the neighborhood, and one of my sons went fishing several times there. The neighborhood is close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. It really could not be anymore perfect.
