Perfect Spring Break

Perfect spring break for our girls. The pool was heated which was great because the weather was a little cool in March. great location close to everything. Overall I give it an excellent review.

We had a wonderful stay. Matt was kind enough to let our drivers in early so they could empty the car and pick up the rest of us at the airport. We ran into a few problems when we arrived. But when I contacted Matt he was quick to respond. The house is in a perfect location. Close to the beach and close even for our Starbucks fans to walk or take the golf cart. Also walkable to many restaurants and shops.

Crystal Beach house

The home is very dated. Signs of deferred maintenance were present. The home was not stocked as noted. Due to the poor conditions of skillets, I had to purchase new one's as I would not cook food in the ones provided. The frig would only provide crushed ice and not cubed. The dishwasher bottom rack is missing parts so very hard to close. You have to actually lift the rack up and push in. The laundry ceiling has evidence of past leaks. The washer and dryer do not clean well and clothes comes out with lint etc. Even though the lint trap is cleaned after every use. The outside turf area is torn up. The one or two cushions on the pool chairs have mold and need to be thrown away. The outside bar is falling apart. The home itself itself came with one ply toilet paper. No kleenex or other items. The primary bedroom did not have a tv remote. Linens are very cheap and there were not any blankets provided. The 2nd upstairs bedroom bathroom ceiling is peeling paint. The Guest house was great. The pool was great. The landscaping around the pool is pool. Dead shrubs and trees or something is growin in the bushes. The grill as noted is not hooked up to gas. Luckily there was enough propane to grill a couple of nights. I am terribly disappointed in the condition. The beach access is about 2 blocks from the home and golf cart was great to have. If you are going to charge a high rate for the home, you really need to make it a 10K per week house.
