Relaxing stay

Beach was clean. Condo was off the beaten path, which we prefer, but only a few minutes drive to everything. Enjoyed daily walks through the neighborhood. Beach chairs and umbrella available in the condo was great. Furniture and mattress were dated and quite worn out, but acceptable for a week.

Great place!

Loved the location & family friendly atmosphere. Condo was nice but lacked the most basic starter supplies such as salt, pepper & coffee filters. We’d love to stay here again if the beds were more comfortable. The mattresses were not supportive and the sheets were scratchy. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

At Home In Paradise

This condo provided all the comforts of home. From the spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms to a fully equipped kitchen. Our stay truly felt like home in paradise!

Beautiful location

Beautiful location, resort is nice. This condo unit specifically still listed and showed a game room which had been removed a guess a while ago. This unit was clean and nice, you get ocean front views and pool, but you can't get sunrise or sunset pictures from your balcony if that's something you want. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

It was great

Too many people were doing other activities on the tennis courts. Not tennis or racquetball. That’s my only complaint. Also beach service wasn’t included but the listing lead you to believe it was.

We'll be back!

Property location in Destin was great! Grounds were clean, beach was amazing. The condo itself was very nice, awesome view on the balcony for morning coffee. If there was one downfall it was the trip from the condo to the beach, it took about 20 minutes one way, so if you forgot something up there and had to go back up, it was about a 40 minute roundtrip. That was the only negative we had.

707 was a beautiful room and a excellent view… only problem was it wasn’t cleaned good before we got checked in…. Floors were very nasty…. Washer and dryer sounded as if it was on its last load

Location

The location was perfect and the views were good.This place was right on the beach and very close to everything. My only complaint is the condo was filthy. There were coffee spills all over the table and with a simple wipe it came right off. which means it was never even cleaned. There were chewed up dog bones under the table and we do not have any pets. The toilets had urine spots all over them. I went and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the entire condo. The beds are comfortable. I slept great and the mattress is super soft. There are plenty of hangers which for me is a huge plus. The washer is extremely noisy but works. The check in process is super smooth and there are plenty of carts available to bring your luggage to the condo in one trip. Overall it was a great stay after we cleaned up.

Enjoyable Time at the Beach

We recently visited for a 4 day trip. The listing was accurate, clean, well maintained, and nice. However, just a tip - booking through a third party does not come with complimentary beach chair service, but if you book directly through the condo, it does. Otherwise, it is a fight to get a front row spot on the beach as the rental chairs take up the entire portion of the beach in front of the condo.

Convenient but…

This property was conveniently located on the beach; however, the pictures were a little deceptive about the unit. It was much smaller than expected and some repairs are needed. The bedroom door is falling off the hinges and the washer is extremely loud and could only be used when we had planned to be out. There was no beach service provided for this unit (we did know that going in), but for the price and the condition of the space, it would have made up for the areas needing attention. We’ve stayed in other condos before and felt we had a much better experience for the money spent.

Family Vacation

Loved room 707. We specifically enjoyed the 2 bedrooms with king sized beds and their own private bathrooms. The room was clean and very well maintained! Gulf front views, easy access to the pool and beach. We would highly recommend this room. :)

OK condo, but not great

The inside of the place was relatively clean and the furniture was sturdy. I appreciated that it wasn't decorated with knick-knacks since I have young children. Some of the problems: When we arrived at 10pm after a 12 hour drive, the smoke alarm in the bedroom was chirping due to a low battery and there were no trash bags in the bins. I ended up driving to Walmart before it closed at 11pm to make sure I could replace the battery and we got trash bags. The washer sounded like a tornado so we couldn't run it at night. The hot water didn't last long enough to fill up the bathtub so I couldn't soak my muscles. The Building internet was so bad we couldn't use it. The signal didn't reach our laptop. Overall building was pretty old and there was a ton of loose trash in the parking lot and in the breezeways. Elevator making weird noises and not working properly. Pool was small for the number of condos in the building.

Get away.

I’ve used VRBO twice now and check in both times has been a pain! The properties are usually managed by outside companies so if you need something during check in or once you’re here, it’s EXTREMELY hard to get a hold of anyone! This condo was very clean! BUT the people that stayed here before us pulled a gross prank on the owners: they threw plastic glasses up in the cupboards with milk in them so it was spoiled rotten! Stunk really bad! We didn’t throw the glasses out but we sat them outside behind our door so we didn’t have to smell sour milk! Seriously who does that to such a nice place!!! This condo has fairly good views, it’s set in a bit, so you have walls on both sides of you so no seeing a sunrise or a sunset. Bring your own beach chairs it’s much cheaper than renting them each day! The staff here was hard working and friendly. The elevator has been broken for six days. We’re on the seventh floor so it’s not like we can carry everything up steps. They ran on one elevator this whole week and asked people to limit three persons to it. The door closed instantly so if the persons in front had children they couldn’t even get everyone on without the door shutting on them! Then you’d have to wait for the one elevator to come back down to get on in which it took approximately five minutes each time. Why would the elevator be broke for a whole week? The place is packed full of young and old people! Dangerous! I’d come back here for the cleanliness and location!
