Roomy pad

I rented this condo to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday with 9 other women. The condo is cozy and comfortable except the sleeping situation. It read sleeps 11, it should read it sleeps 7 comfortably and the other 4 would sleep on pullout beds that are old and need to be replaced because they are super uncomfortable. Other than that, it has the most perfect view! Staff was also great. We would stay again, just less people unless traveling with children who don't care where they sleep.

We love this location and this is our 3rd time to stay here. We will return to Destin next summer but will decide later if we will return here. The condo could use “deep cleaning”. Several of the beds had sand on the sheets to start with. It just lacked smelling and being clean. I guess the condo is privately owned and if it is I would think owner needs to know the condition it is in.

The location and staff were excellent. However, the washer and dryer are too small for such a big unit. I would also recommend better quality mattresses and bedding. We have had much better quality overall at similar/lower priced units.

Overall the condo was nice. The washing machine and dryer are much too small to keep up with laundry for 7 people. The dryer vent had not been cleaned of lint in months and was a fire hazard. We cleaned it out but should be on the housekeeping list after every rental. Light in master bathroom was burned out at our arrival. The condo lighting in general was poor . Maybe LED lights would improve the lighting in the entire condo. John the chair guy was great and the restaurant was excellent.
