「The “cottage” was definitely not as advertised. It was rated well, which is very deceiving. It was dirty, dilapidated and the shower was something out of a horror movie. Mold had taken over. Expedia and VRBO should take a good hard look at how they vet their listed properties. But that was the good part. Approximately 11 pm, there was a knock at the front door. There were 3 gangbangers standing there expecting us to let them in. I yelled “occupied” out the door, they mumbled something and left....

「Nice little house that was perfect for our family of five plus our dog. We would stay here again if we found ourselves out this way again.」

「Amazing stay, loved the bed and hot tub. Close to town but also away. 」

「Good communication. The place was clean. Good space for a family. My only comment for improvement would be: The beds are a bit small for bringing a family, a full in one and a Queen in the other. The Queen for the bigger room needs a new mattress. The firmness was fine, but it was way too "springy" with any movement. If the mattress was replaced, I would definitely stay here again!」

「There were hundreds of lady bugs in the cabin, hot tub left open, and dirty windows. 」

「Lovely house in a mixed building area. Too far from most areas, but quiet. The back patio was very dirty as was the only chair on deck. The front chair was broken and not usable. House itself is nice and nicely decorated. No dishwasher, so keep that in mind. 」

「The host was very kind and responsive. The location was close to local restaurants but off the beaten path enough to feel secluded and to enjoy a nice bonfire. Bathrooms and house was clean and everyone enjoyed the hottub. Checkout was not overly complicated just straight forward. 」

「It's a great location, great space, great price. And, the muffins are the best!」
