"The Sheraton Coconut Beach Resort is hands down the best stay our family has had in a long time. This is a special place. The rooms and bathrooms are big and comfortable and beautiful, most overlook the ocean from the small balcony. This hotel is beachfront and has a gorgeous resort style pool right next to the ocean. There are numerous restaurants and dining options too. It’s located almost centrally and is close to many island attractions. For a Mom who wakes up early, I was able to head down to the lobby at 5:30 am to grab one of their gourmet coffees and breakfast foods at their First Light cafe and sit by the pool and beach to watch the sunrise before the kids woke up. After a few days on the island, my kids just wanted to stay at the resort that have different activities for families every day. The staff were so friendly too. After leaving the Sheraton, we flew to Oahu which is beautiful too but pales significantly to Kauai and the Sheraton Coconut Beach Resort. We will return there next Summer for certain. Loved this hotel!"

"Wonderful! Clean, well equipped kitchen, beach view was incredible! There were times during our stay that we were the only people on the beach. Loved that! Only down side was that there were things at the house that needed upkeep. The grill on the deck barely worked, some of the chairs on deck were broken, the televisions/remotes didn't work, the dishwasher had the control directions taped on, which made it very hard to select cycle, off/on, etc. Things that caretakers may not know about. We would definitely recommend this prooerty!"

"Perfect location and great space! We enjoyed the sunrise each morning from the private balcony. The location was perfect with easy parking, the elevator close to the condo, and steps away from the ocean. Clean space, comfortable beds (including the sofa bed) and patio furniture, fully stocked kitchen accessories, and in unit laundry are just some of the things that made staying here convenient and feel like a home away from home. We highly recommend this beautiful ocean front property!"

"Enjoyed the space, felt comfortable for the group of our size (15) and our needs.We appreciated the supplies and amenities provided as many VRBOs we have stayed at in the past did not provide much.Beach was just steps away and house had a wonderful view of the ocean. "The home was good overall. The location is very convenient for getting around the island, and the hosts were responsive and left some nice goodies for us at check-in. The house itself feels a bit dated and worn, with an unusual layout. The main living space is upstairs, which includes the kitchen, living room, dining area, deck with jacuzzi, and the primary bedroom/bathroom. One challenge is that the only TV and bathroom on this level are located inside the primary bedroom, so access requires going through the bedroom or heading downstairs. The private deck off the primary bedroom wasn’t usable as had no furniture and was dirty. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils. The living room setup was less comfortable; the couch had very thin cushions and sat quite low to the ground, and without a TV in that area, it wasn’t ideal for gathering and relaxing but it did have a very nice view of the ocean.The remaining bedrooms are located downstairs. The sofa beds are in the theater room, which felt a bit cramped, and this room is situated at the back of the house without an ocean view."

"Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good time at Kealia Landing house. The house suited our needs just fine: three bedrooms each with their own bath for three adult couples vacationing together. The lanai and kitchen served us well. The fresh ocean breeze coming through the big windows and doors was so nice. Only a few items for maintenance or to address: we would suggest having gutters cleaned since they filled with rain water and overflowed because of debris in them. All door and window hardware need maintenance since they were hard to open and close at times. The path to the beach is very steep and the lower section is virtually invisible. You have to bushwhack through the grasses to the trail/walking path below. We would suggest knocking down the grasses so a distinct path is visible from house to trail. Be careful with the beach below the house. Towards the life guard stand is the better area. The area below the house and closer to the breakwater has many unhoused people living in cars and tents. Unsightly and at times, smelled :("
