「Such a beautiful property so close to everything. I especially loved the huge pool and hot tub! Besides the manager at the front desk (she doesn’t come across as being very friendly or approachable) and the fact that they didn’t have a business center to print our boarding passes, it was a wonderful visit!」

「We had a beautiful room with a beautiful view of the beach. The hotel was impeccably clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location could not have been better. 」

「The Starlux was much fun. Retro. Clean. Near everything you’d want. The beds were comfy, and the staff members were very helpful. My only note is that the walls are thin and the first night I had some next door neighbors that got there at 2:30 and were up talking till 6. Was almost like they were in my room lol. So if you’re a light sleeper, just be aware. Overall would totally go back again.」

「It is pre-season at the Jersey Shore. Stone Harbor and the Reeds were peaceful and relaxing most of the time. In the evenings, there are options in the hotel and in the town for live music and social gatherings. When the season starts, shops will open, and more eateries will open. I have been in Stone Harbor for the fullness of a summer season, but I enjoyed it this time in the beauty and quiet of spring and the beautiful room and facilities of the Reeds at Shelter Haven.」

「The hotel was very and convenient. Payed $25 for an extra person for 1 night and they decided not to stay and we checked out early. The hotel would not refund for the extra person even though they didnt stay AND we checked out early. Plus we had to get our own batteries for the TV remote because it they were dead. For this, I wouldnt stay here ever again. Sadly they lost a good customer over $25. 」

「Old motel. Well kept. Two blocks from the boardwalk and beach. Easy access to food, shopping, entertainment. Too few plug points for charging devices was the only downside I noticed.」
