I loved the property we stayed in, it was a great location, the bedrooms were nice, and we loved the top floor lounge. You were very nice when we spoke on the phone. However, I found the pre-checkin and post-checkin emailed instructions to have a punitive tone. I have stayed at properties all over the world and would always take care of a property I was a guest at. You may have other guests who are not so careful! Never-the-less, I found it worrying to be warned of arriving early or checking out late, and penalties that would accrue, and strict instruction about leaving the property a certain way, which didn't feel very good, and were frankly worrying - they seemed to imply that penalties would be assessed if we didn't follow your strict instructions. I've never experienced that anywhere else I have stayed, and I didn't like it. Perhaps there is a way to get the point across without seeming to threaten the guest? We paid a lot of money to stay at the property, it was not free. I did not think we should be made to take out the trash when we have paid for a cleaning service. We came for a relaxing trip. I found the way I was treated worrying, not relaxing.
