“Myself and 2 children had a lovely stay at The Cumberland. It has a great location across from the beach and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were very welcoming. The breakfast has a great choice, it is plentiful, cooked fresh and tasty. We parked in the train station car park as it was cheaper for an overnight stay and not as busy as the 'tourist' car parks. It was approx. 5 minute walk via a pedestrian footpath.”

“Price Paid via Expedia excluded breakfast. This was NOT made clear on Expedia website The price paid was identical to the normal room price INCLUDING breakfast charged by the hotel. We, therefore, were charged £29.90 for a service we were denied because of Expedia.
Room lacked a fridge.”

“Great location on seafront close to the Pavilion and harbour (with its pubs and restaurants - esp Catch)
Cosy ensuite room and good freshly cooked breakfast. Friendly owners - who can also provide a parking permit if needed. Very happy to recommend.”
