“My husband and I recently stayed at Russets at the Bloomfield Fruit Farm in Chipping Ongar with our dog and had an exceptional experience. The location is quiet and tranquil, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The accommodation itself was lovely. It was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and renovated, more spacious than expected, and it had everything we needed. James, the host and owner, was generous and kind, leaving us a thoughtful welcome gift of Prosecco when he learned we were……

“We had a really lovely stay in The Yurt — it had everything we needed and was so warm and cosy, even in November. The hot tub was brilliant, especially for a bit of star gazing in the evenings. The attention to detail throughout was fantastic, and we really appreciated the little touches — including the wagon to ferry our things from the car to The Yurt. All the information we needed was laid out clearly in a detailed booklet, which made everything really easy. Charlie was incredibly helpful……

We appreciated the selection of teas! We also enjoyed reading the history of the ownership of the cottage, dating back to 1604. “Property was lovely and totally suited our needs - no fighting over rooms as they were all spacious with lovely en-suites !! Check in was hassle free with an entrance code. Tea coffee and milk was supplied. There were a few stains on the sofas but everything else was spotless. ”
