My family and I enjoyed our stay at Amber Lodge. Really peaceful spot and yet just a short walk away to activities. The kids loved the arcade and the dog enjoyed the beautiful walks. Thanks again for our stay we would definitely recommend to others.
Best wishes,
Thurston Family.
Lodge located on edge of site, beautuful location, so quiet with great views over loch, enjoyed just chilling out taking in views and watching deer in garden, listening to bird song, lodge had everything we needed, really spacious with lots of light coming in through large windows, wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would love to go back
Property is in a very quiet corner of Hunters Quay with stunning views and sun beaming in every window. A bit of a walk to park facilities but didn't bother us. Lots of wildlife around and nice walks. Everything you could need is provided
The location is very good, offering very nice views and a serene atmosphere that made our stay very relaxing regardless of the Scottish weather.
The accommodation was spotless and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living areas were cozy and inviting. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep.
The property is also conveniently located near local attractions, making it easy to explore the area.

Our stay at Amber lodge and Dunoon
Had a lovely stay, beautiful views, fab weather very restful. The area was excellent for touring and discovering more of beautiful Bonnie Scotland. The lodge needs abit of a scrub here and there, And the outside just needs abit of a tidy. The facilities were good and clean, it had everything you need. The on sight restaurant bit expensive and some of the service abit slap dash. Overall Dunoon is beautiful and our stay at the lodge was great.♥️
Really enjoyed our stay at the lodge, however think the bed needs upgrading and the electrics needing sorting as kept tripping out.But overall really enjoyed our stay.
Fantastic location and stay. Beautiful views, great site. Plenty to do and see around the Peninsula.

Fantastic
Me and my partner and dog stayed here for 4 nights as always had a lovely and peaceful time amber lodge is just amazing we know have been 4 years in a row now and look forward to our return thank you Joyce
Good position but in need of some simple maintenance
Nice, quiet location with sea view across the loch and well equipped.
Some simple maintenance is required to fix the outside lights as the the path and steps are dangerous in the dark, also the shower doors.

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Good communication with the owner .Property clean, but there was a residual smell from the hoover which was half full with dust and whatever else .Lovely and quiet up the hill.
Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was bigger the we thought it would be. Lovely and clean with lots of outside space.
Nice big new tv (we could get the dvd to work, need a different lead) but that was find as the weather was lovely so dint watch too much tv.

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
Accommodation was below standard. Had to go in and start cleaning as it wasn’t vey clean. Work surfaces were dirty, dishes were greasy, oven was disgusting had old used tin foil in it, baking trays were dirty and greasy, oven racks were greasy and you could smell of greasy food from it. Under the beds had thick dust , sweety wrappers and rubbish, under the bedside table had rubbish. Outside on the decking the table was filthy there were cobwebs everywhere. All in all very disappointing stay!

A very enjoyable stay
Amber Lodge was a great place to stay for our week's holiday. Inside it felt very homely, was comfortable and had just about everything you needed. The weather was good so did not need the fire and we also did little cooking as we were out all day. Amber Lodge is well situated with lovely views and easy to get to the main road, handy for getting out and about. The owner was extremely friendly and provided lots of information. The Holiday Park Staff were also extremely helpful and friendly. Can recommend using the pool on site and the restaurant food was very good. Everything was dog friendly. Dunoon town itself is great to visit with plenty of shops, supermarkets and take away places. We would certainly stay again.

Amazing
Lodge was in fabulous condition on arrival. The views were beautiful and to get up in the morning to watch the deers and other wildlife sauntering around was a highlight. This was the restful break we needed and we would definitely return if we can in the future. The lodge had everything we required for our stay and would highly recommend. The weather was nice for an couple of days and not so great on others but we expected that. It’s the perfect getaway for a couple of days.
The lodge is located a bit higher than the neighbour lodges and therefore the view to the Holy Loch was excellent. Each morning during breakfast you see the see in onother shape or colour due to weather conditions. Of course, there was scotish weather but durtig rainy intervals the lodge was well equipped and the wlan works perfect.
Thanks for the support.
The lodge is beautiful, with excellent facilities to cater for all. A real home away from home. The kids were particularly taken with the local wildlife and visits from the deer outside the window! Very peaceful area of the holiday park, cannot recommend highly enough. Communication from both argyll self catering and lodge owner has been first class.
