Cozy Cabin getaway

If you want to be away from it all, this is the place for you. It was the perfect size for my husband and I, but it really wouldn’t be great for a large group. We didn’t have any problem with our GPS getting us to the right place, and the check-in instructions were detailed perfectly. Be aware that there are two houses on the property — this is the smaller one. But we never saw anyone else in the area, including the big house, so it was quiet and perfect. We even got to see deer walking through the yard one morning! Most everything worked that we tried, but I have to admit we only used the cabin for sleeping, so didn’t try most of the kitchen or entertainment options (TVs). The WiFi was a must, since there isn’t a great cell signal. We loved our time there and had everything we needed.

Experience a bit of Rural Durango

We enjoyed this cute little, well furnished, barn house for our three day stay in Durango. Though we found the eating space to be a bit challenging, the kitchen was very well stocked and we didn’t mind sitting around the coffee table for our meals together. The views were great and the set up was perfect for two married couples. Master and bath were on the upper level and the second bedroom and bath were on the first level. The rental company was very responsive and easy to work with. A good find!
