「Overall, the room is warm and comfortable although it is relatively small, sufficient for move of one person. The bathroom is large and warm. One drawback is the location is not near to Durham town Center (35 -40 minutes walking distance) and go some slopes before reach the hotel. 」

「The room was clean and comfortable but the building is very old and the toilet/plumbing makes a noise every 30 minutes or so, all through the night, even if you don't flush it. We also had noisy neighbours, the walls are very thin! I didn't get much sleep the first night and we had a wedding to go to the next day so it wasn't ideal. Bring earplugs. No WiFi. 「Very comfy beds. Clean, light room and friendly staff. Tea and coffee available in the room . The karioke downstairs stopped at 11pm which was fine and we slept well. We could have done with some towel hooks or a rail and a few instructions like how to turn on the radiator and what to do with the key when we left ( we worked those things out in the end !)」
