“Nice historic building in the center of town. Very nicely maintained and the staff are quiet but friendly enough. The back of the hotel can get noisy with nightly alley mini parties. Our bed was basically U-shaped and we struggled to not roll into the middle of the bed. That was our only complaint. Parking is excellent and there’s a very good sushi restaurant in the lobby. There’s also a good number of places to eat around the plaza and in the surrounding neighborhoods.”

“Wonderful boutique hotel, a stone throw away from the ocean, with just a handful of well appointed rooms (former classrooms). The property shares a larger lot with a nicer campground part of the same organization. Quiet and peaceful overall. Note however that despite the beautiful decor and finish inside the main building, sound insulation is minimal in the bedrooms. Clean and modern bathrooms. Nice common space downstairs with couches, turntable and vinyls. However, no breakfast available. No……

“The Lookout was absolutely amazing! Such a great location for strolling around town and waking up to the ocean view. Absolutely beautiful!!!”

“No "real" person at the front desk for check-in. The virtual attendant had a microphone that kept cutting out and it took three of us to figure out what she was saying and instructing us to do. There did not appear to be any staff on site and it did not feel safe. Extra flooring planks were left in the hallway with caution tape wrapped around them. The sheets appeared clean, but the mattress underneath was gross looking. Just an overall sense that this was not a good place to be. We did……

“First want to start with the front desk lady was great! She had little coloring books set for kids and gave us one. Super kind. Last day we were there, I always strip the bed sheets. When I did I found bugs. I called and spoke to someone they expressed concern and offered compensation. A day later, I called them, they said it was simply just a lady bug. It for sure was not, and they are now not honoring anything that was said prior. During the phone call, the lady was not at all kind, I asked……
