“Lovely aparthotel, very clean in a perfect location just about 12-15 mins to town and even closer to the beach, staff members were very accommodating and friendly. Overall we had a lovely and relaxed stay after our long walk through to Birling Cap and Beachy Head.”

“Perfectly situated above a traditional English pub. Breakfast was excellent.”

“We stayed in a family room which was clean and close to the beach, with some restaurants around. There is no USB socket in the room so need to bring your own sockets to charge your phones and devices. Pillows are too soft. Breakfast was included, with cold and cooked buffet for selection.”

“This is a lovely hotel with a pleasant, relaxed vibe and friendly staff. The drinks and dining area seemed popular. The hotel overlooks the Bandstand so if you're lucky you'll get a free show. Having a fan supplied in the room was a godsend as it got very hot and stuffy, but in mid summer not much can be done about that.”

“The hotel had no air con, but fan was given on request. Staff polite and happy to help. Plumbing was questionable. Showers were adequate, but water pressure not good. Heard a couple of other guests complaining they had no cold water to fill a kettle, and no water for shower. Our bath was very slow in draining water, with water still in the bath the following day. Breakfast was good, however, dining places often missing salt, pepper and items of cutlery. Waiting staff seemed inexperienced, but……

“No reception staff as normally understood. We weren't welcomed but were told no storage for bags when we checked out! And told the time and no one would be there!!! Outside needed improving , Hall area needed painting. Room and bathroom ok but showe rail in bath not fixed properly on wall and came off. Silicone filler in bathroom needed replacing. Very small high windows, only opened tiny amount ,at top of building so very hot. Fridge OK.”

“Room was clean bed was comfy room was warm. Only thing I would sat is the pillows aren't great and there was only 1 each ”

“There was nothing I liked. It was rundown & in need of refurbishment. My bathroom was dirty and the carpets had stains all over them. The lift didn’t work & I was on the third floor. I would never recommend it & it spoilt my stay in Eastbourne.”

“Couldn't praise the staff enough very helpful ,but the road very noisy with people shouting etc , room good updating is required but great for bed and shower while at the tennis .”

“Good breakfast buffet. Room has seen better days, rather shabby. We were on the 4th floor which was very hot, but there was a good tower fan which cooled things down. The shower didn't work, but reception got someone to fix it at some speed. Only the bare minimum printed information in the room - fire precautions, but nothing about facilities, or breakfast times.”
