“We were allocated a very tired room that had seen far better days. The shower didn’t drain. The breakfast was not good. We went out for breakfast day #2. The staff tried to charge us for the room again after we had paid Expedia in full. The location was good. We would not stay at this hotel again.”

“We stayed there for 5 nights with our 2 teen girls joining over the weekend. Everything was really good: the hospitality, the room and bedding, breakfast, local restaurant guide and even the flush at the toilet. Parking was an issue after 8pm as usually all the closest parking lots would be full.”

“While the Tiger Inn pub is nicely located by the village inn and the staff were very helpful, the room was over priced for what it was - a nice room in a pub. To describe it as 'luxury' is somewhat misleading in my view. The food was good but nothing special, so again, certainly didnt justify the 'luxury' reference”

“Lovely cottage full of character. Lots of thoughtful touches such as shower gel, shampoo and kitchen essentials and the owner responded promptly to all our queries. The garden was an added bonus in the hot weather. Only two minor criticisms - firstly it wasn’t clear from the description that the bathroom (and therefore the only toilet) were on the ground floor. Secondly it wasn’t possible to close the door to the second bedroom as one of the beds is in the way. Overall we enjoyed our brief……
