However, a downside is the lack of a lift to the room, so light luggage is recommended. It would also be an improvement to have a desk and chair in the room.」

「Lively, friendly pub with rooms around the corner from the main High St. Clean and tidy rooms. Good value. Limited parking when busy. As with rooms above pubs it is quite noisy but pretty well sound insulated and the pub closes relatively early. Staff were pleasant, helpful yet unintrusive. The room we had did not have main lighting so was very dark even with the side lights on and if you opened the blinds people on the street could see in - especially from the flat across the road. The breakfast was delicious, and we also met other friendly customers to enjoy a good breakfast together. A highly recommended B&B.」
