Modern Chalet, 2 Acre lot, HOT TUB and NEW OUTDOOR FIREPIT

Upscale, private home with all the upgrades! Spacious open floor plan maximizes comfort and utility. The gourmet kitchen is outfitted with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The living room consists of a leather sofa, loveseat and chair. There are 3 bedrooms: 1 king, 1 queen, and bunk beds w/ futon. This is the perfect romantic get away or family vacation, any season - snow shoeing, cross country skiing, cycling and hiking right out the back door and golf just minutes away. Plenty of room outdoors for the kids to play in the 2 acre yard. Washer and dryer on site. Car port and driveway provide ample parking space. The house is perfectly situated just 1 mile from Holimont slopes and 4 miles from Holiday Valley resort. Entertainment options include fast wifi, and 3 smart streaming TV’s , one with DirectTV programming. Outdoor relaxation is assured in our brand new Hot Springs hot tub, alongside table/chairs for 4 and a propane grill. You'll feel right at home in our Windsor chalet!

This house is located in a residential area. Quiet hours are in effect 10 pm - 6 am. Only the number of guests on the reservation will be allowed. This will be strictly enforced! Parties and special events are not allowed. Quiet hours are in effect at 10 pm. This is a NON SMOKING property. Smoking is NOT allowed on the premises, either inside or outside the house. If there is any evidence of smoking (cigarette or cigar butts, smoking odor, etc), a portion of your security deposit will be forfeited.

External security cameras in use on front of property to ensure safety. Please do not tamper with them, as they are used to monitor contractors like plow service, etc

Perfect snow home away from home. The Windsor Chalet has everything you need to enjoy a ski holiday. The chalet was clean, has a great hot tub, and is just a quick 5 minutes from the town. Chris was great in communicating. We are repeat guests and will stay again. Thank you!

Comfort and convenience!

Great space for family and friends go gather with all needed conveniences. Skiing and the cute town of Ellicottville was so close it was not an inconvenience at all to not be in a ski and ski out property. Was a great place to unwind at the end of a full fun day.

Perfect ski house

We've stayed at this property 6 times and love it every time. There's great space for everyone, easy access, and the hot tub is fantastic after a day skiing. It's an easy ride to town. Chris, the new owner, is very responsive and we will definitely be coming back.

A perfect getaway

We stayed for three nights and loved this property. Great access to downtown and tons to do in the area. The house is beautiful and the property very private. We enjoyed the hot tub for hours every day. Would definitely come back.

Tranquil & Private setting short drive to town

Best words to describe this property are comfortable, private and very clean. Our little dog enjoyed romping around the expansive back yard while we watched with a cup of coffee or glass of wine from the covered porch or patio. You will definitely feel relaxed once you settle into the rental. As other reviews have pointed out, Chris is a gracious host and is readily available to answer any questions you may have. This is our second stay here and definitely would consider a third in the future.

Great Location

Met family for a relaxing couple of days. Chris is excellent in communicating to his guests and makes a great VRBO host. Ellicottville is a friendly village. Dom The Butcher is a wonderful old school shop with great selection of hand-cut meat, an excellent selection of infused olive oil and vinegars. A must stop when in the village.

Cozy and relaxing

The chalet was easy to find - just off the 219 - and the covered driveway space to the back door was clutch. The grill was handy, and the furniture options outside were comfortable and wide-ranging. The hot tub had debris in the bottom and the water appeared discolored. Inside, there aren’t many rooms, yet the house felt spacious enough, while being cozy. The living room furniture was very comfortable, and the fireplace made nights have a nice atmosphere and produced a fair amount of heat. The kitchen appliances worked well, but the drawers felt disorganized and the dishes and utensils appeared dirty. We were also surprised to not find a salt shaker or a measuring glass, or measuring cups. The beds seemed to be on the firm side, which I enjoyed. The master bathroom toilet ran often, and its shower only having half pane enclosing it sent a lot of water onto the floor. All in all, most of these things were minor, and we were very comfortable and happy with our stay. Thanks!

Family Fun Get Away

We stayed for three days at Windsor Chalet with our two adult children, their "significants" and their dogs . We had hoped for some skiing but needless to say the weather didn't cooperate. Instead we visited near by Salamanca, NY (home of Seneca Allegany Casino, Seneca Gaming, Seneca Iroquois National Museum and nearby Allegany State Park). The park was such great spot to hike with our dog and if you're interested in spending time in the Casino it's really close. We wanted to visit the Museum but it wasn't open. The house is conveniently located close to town and ski slopes - Ellicottville has many great shops, breweries and restaurants/cafes and we visited several of them. We also took full advantage of the hot tub at the house. The layout of the house was very conducive to spending lots of time cooking and playing board games together and the dogs all loved the big back yard for running around in! The beds were comfy, there were plenty of towels for the bath plus lots of big fluffy beach towels to wrap up in after a soak in the hot tub. The yard is very private and we were fortunate enough to have a fire our first evening (before the rain moved in). The host provided plenty of firewood and fire starters! The kitchen was well appointed and we found anything we needed to prepare our meals each day. Check in/out was easy and Chris was very responsive to any and all of my texts. This was our second time staying here and we'd love to come back again.

Moms getaway!

Our experience at the Chalet was amazing. This was a quick weekend girls trip get away and the relaxing, warm vibe of the home was perfect. Hot tub was everything, beds were super comfortable and the house is so clam and quiet. Quick drive into town for delicious food (DIna's and EVL Brewing!) and a great road outside the house for running - especially if you like hills. Great amenities in the kitchen, timely and seamless communication with Chris and a super easy check in/out process. The only thing that gave us trouble was the coffee maker- it's a fancy one :) We will most certainly book again- thanks for sharing your place with us!! 10 out of 10!

Found our little piece of paradise

This was our second stay at this location. Both were little escape for our anniversary. House has everything and more for us to relax and enjoy sometime away from the kids in a nice quiet little town. We are not skiers, but I definitely see this place being perfect for a ski getaway for a family. Summer time wise we loved the hot tub, great fire pit, a BBQ to cook a meal. Just great place to lose yourself.

Property was great cleaning was awful. The coffee cups rims had dirt on them 80 percent of plates were dirty. We should not be charged a cleaning fee cause the unit wasn't clean Wet towels in dryer. No soap for dishwasher. Garbage disposal didnt work and foof came up in the sink from last person stay

Romantic Getaway

Wonderful getaway

My family really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful chalet! Too many favorites to list but we loved the hot tub, all the windows to to take in the beautiful setting, the big back yard, the Keurig (with assortment of coffee:-), the jacuzzi/shower tub, the fireplace, and outdoor fire pit.
