「It was a 2 star hotel but honestly it was very cute and clean. Simple walk to the beach and they had beach wagons to rent if you needed on a first come first serve basis. Staff was super helpful and very friendly! Was in a great location with shops and food close.」

「The internet did not work in my hotel room; I had to stay in the hotel lobby in order to get internet. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was lovely. The big negative is the property management unilaterally changed my reservation without talking to or confirming with me. When I arrived on the first date of my reservation, they had booked the entire hotel and had no rooms available for me and told me to stay the first night of my reservation down the road at the Hampton Inn and Suites.」

「The hotel was clean, but in the room was feeling the mold smell, also they might be a bit more careful with the clients and in my room the sheets were not changed, found a lot of hair from previous ocupant. The staff was nice overall and helpful, they had free quick breakfast, they had the refrigerator and microwave in the room, I loved the shower.」

「The staff were very friendly, they offer free breakfast, and it was very clean and quiet in my hotel room. The only thing I would improve is adding gym wipes and filling the conditioner bottle which was empty my whole stay.」

「Absolutely loved our stay! The owner is delightful and the property overall was great. Our room wasn’t fully updated yet and could have used the walls cleaned and the towel bar adjusted but honestly it was an amazing little spot. Not to mention they were so sweet to our son. THe walk to the beach and stairs were a good bit of a hike but having direct access to the beach was 100% worth the stair climb! I will definitely be back!」

「Built in the early 1970's, the hotel is showing some age. It has a great location on the beach, and a nice pool with a spa and tiki bar. Aquarium is nearby, and Fort Macon and wild horses at Shackleford Banks aren't too far. Restaurant is a little pricey and has few healthy choices, and there's a service charge if you prefer to pay using a credit card which seems to be common in the area (in my opinion, it would be better to have a set price and offer a discount if you pay with cash rather than...

「Front desk guys were rude. No elevators i had my cart ,told them I have cancer and a bad back how am I gonna get the cart upstairs and they shrugged their shoulders. Do rude. They soldered the bathtub stopper so u can't pull it up or down and take a bath, only a shower. The washer destroyed my clothes and stole 8$ of my quarters and they said they had nothing to do with the washer and dryer! And pool was about the size of a kiddy pool. Not worth the price. Make sure every guest has a parking space when you pay to stay at a hotel motel whatever the case is there should be parking for those who paid to stay there.
