Peaceful cottage in private garden setting.

Teaneraki Cottage is located in Enfield, formerly Teaneraki, 12 minutes’ drive (12km) inland from Oamaru.

The Fort Enfield is the local pub, only a short walk away. Open 7 days per week, it serves delicious pub meals.

Enfield is on the Alps to Ocean cycle trail. There are also tennis courts and a local domain, great for dog walking, close by.

The cottage features 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a small ensuite toilet and king size bed, the 2nd bedroom a queen bed, the 3rd bedroom is small with one single bed.

Brand new kitchen features all modern conveniences.

The sunny front veranda overlooks the extensive gardens and rural Waiareka Valley beyond.

Continental breakfast provided, including fresh eggs when available from our free-range chickens. And complimentary tea, coffee, milk and butter.

Dogs are welcome by arrangement. The property is not fully fenced.

Family Road Trip

On a family road trip around NZ from Aus in July. Stayed one night and loved the place. Great sized cottage, beautifully set up and well maintained. The surrounds are stunning with a lovely garden and so many little birds. Our host took great care of us with pre-lit pot belly and basics in the kitchen to see us right. I highly recommend this stay, it’s along the way and well worth it.

Stunning gardens with a surprisingly spacious cottage. Nice & clean, great amenities extras for breakfast etc a lovely touch!
