「Ghion is an old hotel, and a good option for a very affordable hotel ideally located in the heart of Addis-Abeba. The bed is quite confortable but the bathroom and the water-heating system is from another century... quite slow to get some reasonably hot water. Sound isolation is quite bad. The hotel itself is quiet, but we hear the noise of the street constantly, including some very early morning religious chants. Breakfast is included, quite nice buffet with typical ethiopian...

「I like the staff. However, my first night wasxa nightmare. The room was not prepared (no towels, no toilet paper, soiled linen, etc.). I was finally able to get a better room, but it was inhabited by insects. After the initially horrible first day, the rest of my stay was more satisfactory. 」

「Das Hotel ist im Zentrum von Addis, in "Kazanchis". Dort findet man einfach alles. Von der Deutschen Bäckerei "Kaiser" bis Jazz Live show Mittwochs um die Ecke in "Breeze". Das Personal ist stets freundlich und das Zimmer sehr sauber. Wenn ich wieder in Addis bin, bin ich bestimmt wieder dort ;-)」

Also, during the day we stayed there, we received three phone calls. I understand that during the day they wouldn't have known we were trying to sleep, but it was fairly disruptive.
