This house is amazing! The owner and property manager have literally thought of everything and stocked this house with all the amenities, equipment, games, movies, and entertainment that you might want. This is our second time at the property (we booked this 4 years ago) and it impressed us how the house was so well-maintined and clean. The owner and the property manager were so responsive and professional in every way. We appreciate them so much.

Pirate Life For me

Our friends and family enjoyed an amazing Spring Break and emersed ourselves in the pirate life! Great movie room and plenty of sports and activities besides the amazing swimming pool, slide and rope swing! It really is like being at a resort yet far more comfortable! We left exhausted which is clear evidence of a vacation well spent! Property management was amazing and very helpful and informative.AAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!

Great place for our family

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and it was perfect for our family. Unfortunately our stay was during this January’s rains and we where not able to enjoy the pool as much as we hoped to. The pool is amazing and definitely worth coming back in the summer month.

Private Resort!

We had a fabulous girls' trip! The house is even better than the beautiful photos and all the rooms were so comfortable. Any questions were responded to promptly, and the whole stay was so easy and relaxing. WOW! We are already planning a return!

Fabulous Week!

The home was amazing! The most technologically advanced home we have ever seen. From the amazing pool and outdoor kitchen to the coffee maker and the bathrooms. Bryan (the owner), was so helpful, if we had any questions or needed anything he always responded quickly to our texts. Everyone had a great time, the age range of our family was from young children to 70+, it was a great stay for all. We would recommend this home to any couple or family that wants a week of luxury and relaxation.

Beautiful house and property

This house and property are beautiful. You feel secluded in the mountains with gorgeous views. The house was very well provisioned as well. Property manager was responsive as well. The fruit trees on property were a nice bonus. There is a guest house on property that they rent out separately. Thankfully we didn't have anyone rent it while we were there, but I don't think i would like someone staying on property considering the cost to rent the main house.

Great place!

We were a large group of friends with small kids and the place was perfect for us. I cannot say much about the location and neighborhood area as we didn't really leave the compound :) Vrbo makes you rate it, so I gave it a 4 as I understand there are some neighbors who are "sensitive to anything that looks like a party". We experienced no issues with it though. Pool alone is worth it, but the place itself if also very modern, comfortable, well equipped and clean! Bryan was very responsive and great to work with. Highly recommend the place!

Perfect place for a family reunion

We enjoyed this property so much and really appreciated and used the pool, hot tub, pickle ball court, theater, ping pong table, shuffleboard, the gym, children’s books, the excellent coffee machine, the smoker bbq, the sonos sound system and all the outdoor lounging areas. We had 10 children with us, ages 3 to 15 and they all had a blast with the pool slide and rope swing. We cooked every meal in house and found everything we needed except a cheese slicer. I, myself, owned a vacation rental company with 65 rentals for over 20 years so I have high standards and this home definitely earns 5 stars in every category.

Amazing stay in SD - best VRBO listing ever?

We've stayed in a lot of hotels and rentals in our lives, but nothing matched what we experienced at this property. Like many of the reviews before me, it exceeded the photos, was every bit as cool as you'd hope and was the perfect place to spend a few days with family. We hosted a 50th anniversary celebration for my parents, with two siblings and 5 teenagers who are every bit as screen-focused and skeptical as teenagers nowadays. They were blown away. The rooms were amply sized and clean. Plenty of bathroom space, with no waiting in line for showers. Amenities like washer/dryer, grill, kitchen appliances and utensils, movie theater were all top notch - not a single complaint. The gourmet coffee maker was cool, as were the machines in the gym and shuffleboard game in the living room. But the thing that takes this property from a great rental to a place you'll remember for the rest of your life is the outdoor setup. We ate outside 3 days and never at the same table. Outdoor TV with heaters for the cool am and pm. Outdoor ping pong, multiple pickle ball courts, basketball, bags and the infinity hot tub were awesome. But the pool...oh, the pool. Grotto behind a waterfall. Water slide that amazed even teens because it is steep and you really move. Swinging rope into the pool. Swim up bar next to the grill and a fridge and place to plug in the blender. It just absolutely blows you away...as good as any resort. If you are on the fence, take the plunge...you won't regret it!!!!!!!!

Family Getaway

The property is fabulous. The home is lovely and beautifully maintained. There are so many choices of activities to enjoy on the property. The pool area is incredible-superior to many top rated resorts.

amazing breathtaking and truly one of a kind experience

I travel and have stayed at the most amazing places yet this one took our breath away. Host is amazing, property is beyond amazing Epic!!! pictures do not do justice as this place exceeded mine and our friends expectations that travel the world. The entertaining , pool and grounds are breath taking and there is so much to do that you never have to leave your own private resort. everything was easy and instructions how to use everything made our trip even more special. There is a VIP host that you can get in touch with ASAP for anything. My 50th Birthday was Epic because of this amazing hide away in paradise. We will be back and my friends who live in San Diego freaked out when they saw the pictures and are now going to rent this home as they have never seen anything like this. Thank you Bryan for making this stay so special can't say enough nice things as every day every turn your more surprised with how much thought goes into making your stay better than any resort.

This is a dream house! A gorgeous oasis with the most beautiful views. Absolutely peaceful. The house itself is very clean and everything is well thought out. One of our favorite places to stay for vacation.

Fantastic Vacation Home

What a great vacation home. From the pool (beyond expectations), to the movie theatre, the X-Box game console to the commercial coffee maker, everyone had a great time. Never heard “I am bored” or “there is nothing to do”. The layout of the house gave us an open air feel where all 11 of us could congregate. Fantastic week!

Perfect

We needed to find a house for family to come together in celebration of my grandmother's 100th birthday. This house was perfect. Plenty of space with the two master bedrooms, bedroom with en suite and two additional bedrooms with a Jack and Jill. The kitchen was spacious and supplied well. a proper movie theater, shuffle board table, there was a lot to keep kids (and grown ups!) busy. AND then there is the outside... we spent hours in the pool and had a tennis coach come in to give the kids a lesson. As others have said - the photos don't do the house justice. It felt like we were at a small private resort. And I can't say enough about the owner, Bryan, and how accommodating and helpful he was both as we were planning and while we were there. He offered great recommendations for catering my grandmother's dinner and patiently helped us trouble shoot when she inadvertently turned off the hot water heater (lol). The best way to sum it up is... as we were packing up our kids asked if we could stay for an entire week. I wish we could have, too!

Relax and Enjoy

Hands down the greatest house in San Diego. This place will keep you busy or keep you relaxed, whichever you prefer. Bryan and his team were excellent from the beginning, helping us get the most out of their AMAZING home. Awesome Place for Summer Time

Overall experience is GREAT! The interior and exterior match the Vrbo listing images. Especially the pool and spa. These are hard to find in the same area or in Southern CA. Will definitely come back again!!!!

The Best Vacation

The house was even better in person. It was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing anything and everything we could want during our stay. It was extremely clean. We had a fantastic stay, taking advantage of all the property had to offer and never wanted to leave-- we swam, played tennis and ping pong, and had a putting competition. The kids played video games and we payed poker. We watched movies. It was a literal fun house. The pool (with slide and rope swing) was the star, as even the adults enjoyed it and felt like kids again! It's rare to find a property that is ideal for the adults and the kids. This is it!

Fantastic property! Absolutely first class!

The internet pictures do not exhibit the gorgeous layout of the accommodations and expansiveness of the property! So many gathering areas inside and out…our family of 14 didn’t even utilize all the beautiful sitting areas spanning three separate levels outside. The pirate ship pool and covered palapa area are stunningly unbelievable…countless hours spent on the slide or poolside…this is not a pool, but a gorgeous water activity location! Bryan, the owner, was incredibly gracious and timely in all our communications…my family is already discussing our next reunion at this property!!

Best Family Vacation Ever!

5 Star everything from the very beginning! Bryan, the owner, responded quickly to all of our questions, gave us wonderful, thorough, detailed instructions before our stay and then we arrived at the most amazing home that had every amenity that we could only hope or dream for! We had the most extraordinary family vacation ever!! We would return in a second!.
