The property was quiet and clean and had all the requirements for a comfortable stay. We only stayed one night but it was like we were the only ones staying. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are happy to recommend. Restaurant exceeded expectations. Hotel service was good although the lukewarm welcome did not create a good first impression. The scruffy state of the moat is a bit of a shame.
