The cottage was cute, and private, clean and updated. Our dogs loved the pond. Location was central and close to restaurants. We did not have one bad meal.
We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean and cozy. Kat had great communication and responding to any questions I had promptly. The location is great and everything is a close walk. This will be our go to spot to book when visiting family in the area.
The place was nice. It was clean, and the owners had obviously put money into updating various things.
The location is the one real downside. You have to access the property through a trash can filled back alley. It didn’t feel dangerous. Just a bit grungy.
Overall, if you don’t mind the alley, my husband and I endorse this property, and we would stay there again.
There was a scheduling strangeness with VRBO but the hosts were super communicative and worked with us to resolve easily. Cute place and a lovely stay.
Exceeded expectations! Adorable place in a great location! Pond is super cool, didn't see any frogs but saw lots of fish. Check in was easy, house was very clean. Comfortable bed and nice linens. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bring earplugs if you are sound sensitive, you can hear everything going on above you. Owner uses a lot of heavy fragrance detergent/cleaners so beware if you have any sensitivities to artificial fragrance. Would definitely stay again!
From the moment I saw the pictures online, I knew it was exactly where I wanted to be. It was cozy-small, and had an inviting feel about it. I couldn’t wait to get there. Naturally, my flights were delayed. I finally made it to the area where the home was located, but couldn’t find the place. As much as I hated to call the manager so late, I had to. She answered the phone like it was 10:30am, not pm. I explained through my embarrassment that I was lost. With more warmth and patience than I could have thought possible at that hour, she guided me step by step; stayed on the phone with me to make sure I arrived safely. As soon as I entered the home, I felt like it was Christmas morning. I really did. It’s beautiful, simple, easy to find things. I didn’t ever want to leave. There’s a courtyard with a pond containing koi fish! I loved that. The courtyard sits in the center of a ring of other homes, some quite tall. I never saw a soul. It felt amazingly private. It’s been a long time since I have felt at home like that. I keep thinking I should find something to criticize, but honestly, I can’t. It was everything I had been hoping for, and more; Small, hidden away, quiet, clean, with this huge comfortable bed I had all to myself. The only bad thing? I had to leave, and I really did not want to. I hope this review helps. Thank you.
