"Don't judge a book by the cover. This place is a gem in the heart of Athens. 4th and 5th floors northwest corner has perfect picture window views of Monestiraki square, Acropolis and Parthenon. Staircase is narrow but secured by locks on each floor. Is a 24 hour desk at base of stairs. Floor 7 is a rooftop restaurant not associated with the hotel and is expensive. Hotel breakfast is located on 6th floor with intwrior views of Acropolis and closed after breakfast. Water is hot with pressure in huge bathroom. Breakfast is wonderful. This hotel can arrange a car from the port or airport for 35E to 40E range. Free water, wine, and coffee were in the junior suite 506. The views and location 100 yards from the metro and a world class neighborhood make this a 10 out of 10 if you can afford it."
