“We are so glad we chose the Alkima Hotel for our vacation to Athens! It was extremely close to everything which allowed us to walk to all the major sights we wanted to see. Although it is close to the center, it's in a less busy side street, making it quieter than other options. The rooftop pool and patio was beautiful, with stunning views of the Acropolis! We enjoyed breakfast on the patio each morning which was exceptionally presented, tasted fresh and traditional. It was a great way to start……

“Very conveniently located. Within walking distance of alot of restaurants and main sights in the City. Great view of the city and aceopolis from the rooftop pool. Only thing we wish was improved was the mini fridge was very small and did not get fully cold. Shower configuration was also a bit odd/small, causing alot of water to splash outside of shower area. Aside from that, the hotel was excellent. ”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food (breakfast) was great and the portions large. Room (upper-4th flr) was quiet and clean with nice amenities. They are in a great location within easy walking distance of most major attractions and there are a large number of nearby local restaurants with great food.”

“Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. There was water in the fridge, a coffee maker and hot pot. The hotel was located close to shops and restaurants. I liked that entrance to the hotel and room was just by an access code. Didn’t have to be concerned about losing a key or key card. ”

“All the room features were all functional and clean, such as the air conditioning and fridge etc. In my case the window view was able to see the national observatory, which is illuminated at night. The shower may cause some confusion due to many options. Look out for the laminated instructions. ”

“Staff were kind and friendly - breakfast was delicious and on a beautiful rooftop with a view of the acropolis. Would recommend. Now knowing the hotel layout I would also probably spring for a slightly fancier room as the ones on the 3rd floor opened to an outdoor corridor and likely a little quieter.”

“Location, location, location. Adorable place very comfortable. While I do not regret staying there my one complaint is is that they did not have a washer and dryer for us to do laundry. It’s one thing to say you have laundry services. It’s another to say that you have a washer and dryer on site. I specifically picked this place because I was under the impression I could do laundry there. I recommend that they remove the fact that there’s a washer and dryer on site as it implies we could do our……
