「Great location, close to Old Town and a really good restaurant. Proprietor offered us a complimentary drink each night of our stay. There are 4-5 rooms, we were in 'Charlie', the old saloon (converted obviously), 」

I loved having the rainfall shower and a beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony, wonderful amenities like the gym and pool, and excellent and friendly front desk service, free valet or self parking, complimentary waters etc, and a wonderful location close to old town and next to the food hall!」

「Wunderschönes, gut erhaltenes kleines Hotel in direkter (fußläufig erreichbarer) Umgebung der Old Town von ABQ. Sehr leckeres Frühstück, großzügige Unterkunft mit allem, was es braucht. Wir waren eine Nacht vor Ort und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wer New Mexico-Feeling sucht und nicht in einem klassisch-langweiligen Hotel übernachten möchte, ist hier genau richtig. 」

「Very disappointing experience. Around 5:30 AM someone from the front desk knocked on our door twice because their system incorrectly showed our room as vacant after a check-in error. This woke us up abruptly, our dogs started barking, and we couldn’t go back to sleep. We had been driving all day and still had a full day of travel ahead of us, so this disturbance was extremely frustrating. The issue was caused by the hotel’s internal mistake and unfortunately no resolution was offered.」

「This hotel is definitely not what it used to be. Staff was non-chalant and arrogant. Room was outdated with old furniture. With such a nice new hotel next door one would think that the staff here would care more with such good competition close by. Spend a couple of extra bucks and stay next door.」

「This stay fell well below expectations for a DoubleTree. Housekeeping never offered to clean the room during our stay, and none of the housekeeping staff we encountered spoke English, which made requesting basic toiletries extremely difficult. When our shower gel ran out, we couldn't even communicate what we needed. Basic service and communication should not be a challenge at a hotel of this brand.」
