Nice, clean room. Very helpful, friendly staff. The bed is comfortable, too. The only downside was a lousy thumping in the ceiling overnight. Too noisy to sleep well.

It was an ok place to spend the night. Lots of parking. The problem was that the halls weren't well lit, and the side entrance led into the stairwell, which didn't feel very welcoming. The breakfast was fine, and the lady organizing it was wonderful and friendly. It just wasn't an up-to-date hotel. It worked for the night. The room was clean. I know the hotel had nothing to do with this, but $30 in taxes was added to our bill.

Room was very congested, specially the bathroom. It was very small. Sink being outside of bathroom and No full length mirror - not comfortable to get ready in the morning. It was not worth the price. Although staff was good. There were few options for the breakfast. Overall okay.

I checked in on Saturday and checked out on Sunday. The older gentleman that checked me in I didn't catch his name but he was extremely friendly and extremely helpful. Sunday morning I had interaction with Raj and he couldn't have been any nicer. All of the housekeepers and other staff were extremely friendly and helpful as well. I definitely would recommend staying there.

The hotel was clean and conveniently located. The breakfast was hot and generous, and the lobby coffee maker ground and brewed fresh on demand. Parking was easy, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as a small convenience store/snack station in the hotel lobby. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the friendly staff. I spoke with several people who were kind and courteous, including Raj. Raj greeted us on arrival, and he was warm, super helpful, and welcoming. He remembered me from phone calls I made before arrival, and he helped me with some confusion I had about my stay. The staff at this Holiday Inn Express is the basis of my recommendation that you stay here when you need lodging in Fairfax. The kind, smiling employees truly made our stay memorable.
