「As we didn’t book direct with the hotel our evening meal wasn’t included. That wasn’t a problem as you could dine in any of the restaurants for £30 per head. Traveller’s be aware though if you didn’t want to dine in there was no other food purchase options available after 4pm. They don’t offer room service either. The grounds are extensive and it’s not possible to walk to anywhere. Take snacks with you as there is a fridge available in the room.」

「Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. 「Didn't get my cide to get into property had to call hotels.com. The stairs are very awkward with small children. Heating Didn't work correctly gor first three days. Kitchen needs more cutlery ( knife & spoon). 」

「We (family of 4) stayed here for 3 nights and couldn’t be happier! Our two-storey cottage was spacious, and well appointed with gorgeous linens and bath products. The complimentary breakfast far exceeded the ‘standard’ continental breakfast and the kitchen serves delicious meals for dinner. All the staff (Luca, Martina and Finn) were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here and eating a hearty pub meal!」

「Had a lovely stay over the weekend and was well looked after - shout out to Ellie who made sure I was fed and watered after my long journey. The only downside - the bed in room 5 is particularly firm, and as a side sleeper has caused me discomfort in my hips. Obviously it’s total personal preference but a soft mattress topper might fix the issue. The room itself was beautiful though.」
