Lively boutique hotel in a great location - short walk to the old town and in a very quiet area. Staff were super friendly and helpful, rooms were great - bed super comfy and massive, shower good, all well appointed. Breakfast was incredible - so many courses, all of which were great. And the staff went out of their way to cater to every need. Definitely recommend

This is the best independent boutique hotel we have stayed in. The building has been modernised and decorated to an exceptionally high standard. The room we had was superb. Spotless. Very quiet. The staff were outstanding. Friendly, accommodating and very helpful. We met the owner too who is a delightful lady who takes a lot of pride in her hotel and comfort of her guests. The table service breakfast is not to be missed. €15pp - it is an absolute bargain. The pool and breakfast areas are very peaceful and tranquil. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. 5*

I cant explain how amazing this stay was. The room was spotless, cleaned everyday without request, from this lovely girl Rina. She was amazing. She was so kind and helpful, i truly feel as though i made a friend. She made my stay a very welcoming experience. Shout out to Rina 100/10. :)

Clean room in a recently remodeled hotel. Air conditioning was very strong and nice. Had a balcony view of the pool which always had people lounging. Very helpful staff and close to historic old town so very easy to walk everywhere.

We cannot say enough good about this place. This felt like a home away from home. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind, and they made our first experience in Portugal a great one. Had such a fantastic experience here! The staff are amazing and the space is absolutely gorgeous. I repeatedly extended my trip simply on the great vibes here, the only regret was not being able to schedule in the wine tasting and pairing. A perfectly valid reason to plan and come back to enjoy. Can’t say enough great things about it. :)

Fabulous quiet room with ensuite and terrace. Great breakfast personally prepared and served by a small team of friendly welcoming managers. Fast WiFi. Modest pool much appreciated in the central location. Easily walkable to the marina, railway, bus station and restaurants. Felt more like staying in a private villa than a hotel. Hope we can return there in future.

What a fantastic little find. Often hotels don't live up to their photos and hype, but this was quite the opposite, it was 100% better than we could have expected. Pedro and all the other staff were fabulous, the rooms were beautiful and spotlessly kept, and the location ideal for everything. We will definitely be coming back to Faro, just to be able to stay here again!! Thank you to all.

I have just come back from a short stay at Luxury Guest House Opus One and from the moment I stepped into the property at 11pm, Rena who was on duty waiting for me was welcoming and taking time to show me around the property. The photos not do the property justice. It was extremely clean and my room was perfect! Breakfast was prepared fresh and comprised of continental style meats and cheese, fresh fruit, eggs, bread, yoghurt, although other items maybe available. Michael, Anna and Pedro were other members of staff and friendly. I will go back and definitely recommend.

This property is in a quiet street off the main old part of faro. We used it for just sleeping and swimming as there are many cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance, but I think you order the night before if you want breakfast. Very attentive but discreet staff who cleaned our room and gave us fresh towels daily. We were there in 30 degree heat, so the air conditioning was a must. Faro is a lovely city to stay in if you want a low key stay and an inexpensive boat ferry can take you across the lagoon to faro beach. When there head left for tranquility. Many people go to the Algarve for the larger beach resorts but we don’t. We came across the city’s food festival one evening, on the far side of the old city, and seemed to be the only brits there. Opus One has huge rooms with enormous cupboard space and luxury bathrooms. Will definitely go again. Easy journey from airport and a local bus no 16 that takes you to the airport or beach, if you don’t take the ferry.
