Windows head blinds that would not open so we never got to see outside. Shower was very small. You could barely move in the shower stall. There were only two large towels, no washcloths no hand towels and they did not change them the next day we had to ask for fresh ones received two bottles of water in the refrigerator the first day and never anymore the following days air conditioning unit worked well plenty of outlets clean facility. Breakfast buffet was OK, front desk young lady was very helpful and nice hotel was down the block from the train station so it was quite crowded but manageable.

When we arrive the front desk attendee didn't speak much Spanish or English. It was hard to understand him. Also our room was on the first floor and it was noisy. The breakfast was not good at all, the cook was taking out the fruit with her bare hands and the eggs you had to heat them up in a microwave

We booked and paid for a double room but were given a one full-bed room instead, which was very disappointing. When we went back downstairs to address it, we were told there were no other rooms available and that this was simply what we would get. The shower was extremely small—so much so that even as a petite person, I couldn’t comfortably close the glass doors while showering. There was barely any space for our carry-ons, and surprisingly, no phone in the room to contact the front desk. The walls are paper-thin—we were woken up in the middle of the night by a neighboring guest being sick. The breakfast was also a letdown, with stale and old food. While the view was nice, it didn’t make up for the overall experience. To top it off, the front desk staff (particularly the main woman downstairs) was unhelpful and rude. Overall, not a stay I would recommend.

Overall, we were happy with the stay. Few additions could have made difference but for short stay no complaints. Although the breakfast is free and placed at the top which was the best. However, it is small and can be too crowded.

It's clearly a block of flats that has been converted to a hotel. My room was a bit cramped but for a few nights, I could live with it. There is a slight smell which in high summer is likely to be prominent. If you don't expect a 5 star experience, then it's OK. My room was clean, the staff friendly enough and walking distance to all the major sights. If I was back in Florence, would I stay there again, probably not, but I've no real complaints. Just don't expect too much and you'll be fine.

I was there for three nights and had no issues. Staff were very polite, the rooms/bathrooms were clean and the hotel itself is in a good location. I would say, however, that I was by myself and the room could be slightly cramped if two people (even though double bed was comfortable). Would recommend if you’re looking for mid-budget hotels.
