Loved being so close to the ocean, even though it decided to be foggy every morning. The house was well stocked in the kitchen and beds were comfortable. Was a good fit for a women's getaway.

Cozy Cottage With Spectacular Views

This property was very sufficient for our stay. We meet friends from CA at a Beach Town in Oregon to just relax and catch up on life. This facility was great for that purpose and we would likely stay there again. There were some minor issues like as small shower for a big guy like myself(6' and 250) but overall we had a great time.

Cute little house with great location. We stayed here 3 years ago and love the upgrades since we were there. Would be nice to have queen size beds but I understand the room size restrictions. Perfect size for 4 or 5 people. Love the 2 full bathrooms!

Sweet peaceful beach weekend

Our anniversary weekend here was such a nice choice. We got one really good day of nice weather to beachcomb and enjoy some sand in our toes. And Florence has a wonderful quaint but very nice food sector in old town. We ate dinner at 1248 Ristobar. It was pesto!!

Lovely home by the ocean

We like the home's close proximity and easy walk to the beach. Guests can view the ocean from the living room or the deck. The house is simple but with all the amenities one might need for a relaxing stay, plus it is dog friendly!

Relaxing, quiet getaway by the beach

Very relaxing few days with family in this cute house with gorgeous views of the ocean and sunsets. Great location across from beach access, to enjoy long walk on the Heceta beach and quite neighborhood. Would come again.

Fun little stay

This small cottage was all that we needed. It is not fancy but it would be comfortable for 5 or 6 people. There is a nice airtight wood fireplace that one could use if you brought some firewood. There were basic cooking utensils adequate for the light cooking we did. The bed was too soft for us and we awoke with backaches each morning. Aside from that, it was a short walk across the street to the beach and ready access to town to purchase groceries. We would do it again if the bed were a bit more firm.

Fun, casual

Great little stay. An adult daughter with her 8 year old son spent part of an afternoon and evening. Games and puzzles were a nice family activity. Wifi was functional but little used. Kitchen was good for light cooking and meal prep. Beach with easy access. Wish there was a hose for washing off outside after a walk on the beach and wish that we had bought firewood for an evening in front of the woods stove. The bed was too soft so woke up with a backache. If you like a very soft bed, then you would like it. In general, a great place, and we would like to go back.

Great new years trip

Stayed with a few friends and my dog for new years. House was clean and cozy with a wonderful view of the ocean. There was also plenty of space and it didn’t seem crowded. It was easy access to the beach as well. I plan on staying here again. I wasn’t sure how to check out as it wasn’t clear; hoping they won’t charge me extra since I didn’t see the text message with the check out link until an hour after we left the house at check out time.

Although the house is not actually right on the beach, it is straight across from an access, giving it a beautiful view of the beach. We had beautiful sunset walks and thought this house the perfect size for 4 people. It can sleep 7, but that might get a little crowded. We will be back!

Great stay

Very relaxing, great access to the beach. The front deck was enclosed so it was nice to have our dog contained . Our daughter is 15 but I can see a young family with little kids really being able to enjoy the deck, being able to have them outside without worry. Nice and sunny, west facing, a little sun trap even on a partly cloudy day . The cabin had everything we needed and was as advertised. A real gem, I’m so glad we found it. We are planning on coming back sometime!
