Perfect family getaway

We absolutely loved the deck and spent most of our time outside enjoying the view and the cozy fire. The house was beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Overall a great place to stay and we would definitely go back!

This house is big and has it all! The deck is huge and the steps to the river beach are so cool! We had intentions of doing lots of things nearby, but enjoyed the house so much we just hung out. The sunroom is perfect! Great place for a family reunion.

We absolutely loved staying here and hope to return someday! The house is so lovely, enough room for all of us to have our own space, which we appreciate. The huge dining table was great for our large family. The projector screen was awesome and the kids loved it. The stairs to the river beach were so great, we loved taking walks and playing in the sand. The hot tub with the incredible view was icing on the cake. Beautiful home, gorgeous setting

Spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated, quiet and peaceful setting overlooking the river. A little steep getting down to the river but doable. Took a nice walk along the shore when the tide was out. The master bedroom is especially nice. Short drive to stunning beaches and close to old town. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place!

This house is even better than the pictures which are amazing. It looks newly remodeled, with fresh paint, pretty rugs on hardwoods, beautiful new kitchen cabinets, incredible high end appliances, super well equipped with pots, pans, a lot of dishes, and lovely coordinated decor throughout. It has a pottery barn feel. The furniture is all new and clean, and comfy. The details in the house include a basketful of yoga equipment, games, sand toys, lots of towels, a baby cradle, packnplay, high end lotions near all sinks, coffee, teas, and more. The windows are huge and look out to the river and the sunset, so even with bad weather, the inside is perfect. The deck outside is awesome (even though it was storming most of our stay, so we couldn't use it much) with a firepit, lots of seating, a huge table for 10. The stairs lead down to a private sandy beach on the river. I can't say enough great stuff about this property. Here are things I look for: is there enough seating for everyone together? Yes, in the sunroom, everyone is able to sit together with a huge couch and chairs. There are smaller groupings of chairs where people can sit by a fireplace or TV as well. The kitchen is super well appointed with storage containers/lids, and even spices, but bring your own foil and plastic bags. It is close to everything, while on a quiet cul-de-sac where you don't see neighboring houses. To get to the ocean is a short 10 minute drive north or south, at most. We will be back!!

Spent a long weekend in Florence and this home was wonderful! It was clean, updated, and really accommodating. My elderly mother was able to easily navigate the home with her walker on the wood floor, walk in showers, and wide doorways. The deck is wonderful with the view of the river and dunes. The host was great and easy to contact. We hope to rerun next year.

Ours was a gathering of far-flung high school friends (class of '72), and this was the perfect place for us to chill and reconnect. I picked this house for its location, easy access, and big deck that overlooked a river. Very peaceful.We enjoyed the firepit, hot tub, fireplace, and light-filled living areas. The kitchen was a dream, with quality appliances, cookware & dishes, and the bedrooms & bathrooms were also super nice.The check in and out process was easy. The owners were thoughtful and very responsive.It was my first visit to Florence and we found plenty of fun things to do up and down the coast. Ran out of time before we had a chance to ride the bikes in the garage...Highly recommend!
