While the property has a decent location and fast internet, several significant issues detracted from our stay. The neighborhood is generally quiet, but one neighbor was working on cars all day, which was quite loud. The proximity to the beach is a plus, but the property itself has many drawbacks.
The back door appeared to have been damaged at some point, giving off a creepy vibe with its knuckle marks. The steps on the front porch were loose and posed a safety hazard. The network equipment was stored in a non-breathable basket under the bunk beds, another safety concern. Additionally, the bunk beds were not secured to the wall, which felt unsafe, especially for children.
The walls are paper thin, so you can hear a conversation from opposite sides of the house.
The place seemed like it hadn't been occupied in a long time, with spiderwebs and dead bugs covering every window, adding to the overall unsettling atmosphere. The toilet in the bathroom was leaking, making it unusable, so we had to turn off the water.
The kitchen had all the necessary tools for cooking, but there were no spices, which pushed us to eat out more than we would have liked, and it would have been nice if there was detergent for the washing machine. The TV was placed in an awkward location, making it difficult to watch comfortably as a family.
There were no screens on any windows, so we couldn't open them due to the risk of bugs getting in, which made the heat unbearable. The shower lacked a handheld nozzle, making it difficult to bathe children.
Customer support was unhelpful and robotic, and they told us the issues would be fixed after our departure, which didn't help our situation at all. Overall, the property has potential but needs significant improvements to be a comfortable stay.
