“We had the best room in the entire place, the only one with a private balcony which was so nice. It was fun to watch the bikers/walkers heading to party on Duval Street. Room was very large and in such great condition for the age of the building and the historical charm. We were on the same street and close to the Truman winter Whitehouse. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. The pool was nice. But....the stairs were tough on us to get to our floor, so if you can't do stairs, don't reserve……

“I have rarely been so positively surprised by a hotel. The outdoor areas (pool, gardens, bar) were more spacious than I expected, and impeccably maintained.
