「We had 4 generations (ages 1- 68) stay at the house. 16 people in total. We had the best time. The location is perfect. Being right on the beach with 6 kids under 8 was perfect. The photos don't do the home justice. We felt it was even more beautiful in person. There was room for everyone to be together and plenty of room for everyone when you wanted a little quiet time. The pool was heated perfectly. Everyone loved swimming, even after the sun went down. We're already planning next years stay.」

「This place was AMAZING!!! We had a little hiccup upon arrival due to another guest with the same name as mine, but the staff did an amazing job making everything right. Room 1111 was AMAZING!!! The king bed was super comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and an awesome fridge. We also had pots, pans, silverware, plates, and cups. The living room had a couch, chair, table and tv. And that view… An absolute pleasure...

「I’ll start with the good- it was the perfect spot for us for vacation. The property was very clean and had plenty for us to do. We walked to the water and played in the pool and stopped for ice cream a couple times. The setup was great! The mattress however was awful. I felt like I was sleeping in hole- mostly because I was. So that part was definitely a let down. I didn’t rest well the entire trip but otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would likely go back again one day! 」

「We chose this property because our son was participating in the Iron Man competition. After studying the route on the IRONMAN website, I felt like this was in close proximity to the course. Little did I know, the running portion of the race goes directly in front of the house! It worked out perfectly! The property was clean and comfortable. A little bit small, but worked very well for us. It was myself, my husband, one adult child and one grandchild. Definitely recommend this spot! Convenience...

「The condo was perfect for our stay. 2 bathrooms is awesome. The balcony with ocean and beach view made for the perfect perch when not down by the water. The main pool area had some policies that I did not care for. Specifically, are not permitted to be turned to face the sun. Of course if you want to rent a cabana then there are perks. 🙄 Great stay and I look forward to a return trip.」

「We loved the place, it was very clean and really close to the beach. The checking in and checking out process was very easy. Also, the place is very close to many restaurants and stores, we didn’t have to drive very far. You can even walk to the stores and restaurants if you want to. The only thing I would recommend changing it would be the beds, they were not very comfortable. Other then that everything was great 👍」

「We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Island! It was extremely clean each staff member we passed by spoke and was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The pools were very clean as well! There was a few little restaurants food trucks and bars on the property. They had live music and fun things for the kids such as mermaid appearances. We loved this resort and will definitely choose it any time we come to Fort Walton. 」
